Exclamation Bizarre wire splicing on driver's window switch

Was replacing the front switches on my 07 hatchback. Passenger switch done, problem fixed. When I pulled the switch panel on the driver side I saw a ton of extra wires spliced into the master switch harness. Pulled the door panel, and found 8 relay's mounted and wired into the switch wires. What the hell?! Why? I've searched the forums and web and can't find any reason they would be there, much less part of the master window switch circuit.

I'd go ahead and pull them out and resolder the original wires back to normal, but there are 3 "new" wires going back into the car that I can't seem to trace... I don't feel like pulling the dash apart today.

They had auto up and down window control hooked up to an alarm. That's how they did it before stuff like dei 530 t and other crap like that. It closed the windows when you locked the car. The 3 wires are power, lock and aux. Red green and blue?

Yeah, blue, red and speaker wire. Given the crap job they did on crimping the connectors, I'll end up pulling it eventually
