If so, check your wiring. I had the same exact problem with my GTI, after I put the HID's in.

| Not Ranked : 0 score on an AM station your going to get crap reception and interferance from anything and everything, thats the crappy thing, and i'm pretty sure that the ground for the AM radio antenna (no most cars don't use the same antenna for both of them) its on the back of the car wired in with the rear defrost switch.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I have a GT. I've added alot of eletrical crap, but I'm only noticing now. I have a V1 wired into the mirror. I have two tone horns wired into where the stock horn was. I have HID fogs. I have heated mirrors tied into the rear defrost. I know AM is shit, but I never noticed it before. It could be that I am traveling in a different direction for work and I do drive with my lights on more often than I used to. There was something weird with the horn a week ago. It kind of just stopped working. I'd assumed either they were crap or there was a loose wire. I wanted to check it out over the weekend but then it just started working again so i didn't want to pull the front fascia for no reason. Thanks for the suggestions, btw |
