Evo X curb weight: 3585lbs 1999 mazda miata curb weight: 2299lbs (I don't have power locks/windows etc...but turbo adds some weight, we'll say 50lbs) so 2350lbs Evo X Power/weight: 0.0948 HP/lbs Miata power/weight: 0.117 HP/lbs Evo X would need 420whp to be 'even' with Miata. And you're quibbling over correction factors??? lol |

| Not Ranked : 0 score car with you in it is what 2500 pounds. my car with me is like 3800 with out a spare. Your power falls off at 6500 mine holds till about 7-7500 so it would be a good run against you from a high roll. anything below 45 may be in my favor.

But I've only been above 100 like twice and I was videoing, so I didnt' really pay attention and don't have much experience there. The MS3 was super stable at speed, it was nuts Yes that makes sense... air drag increases exponentially with speed. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thought about LS swap a lot. But it is a lot of money, even beyond just the drivetrain. Ideally I would need stiffer/better suspension, bigger brakes...list goes on. Turbo can reliably get me the power i would want in this light ass car, and I also like dicking around with megasquirt etc.... I also just like turbocharged cars in generals (need mah ricer BOV)

I need EWG...but I'm gonna be gone again soon. while I'm gone, all the hardware is gonna get taken care of. (Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Just looked at the datalogs. AFR was pretty good around 11.5-11.7 for most of the runs, but past... 6k or so, it goes down, 10.5 by redline lol. I was probably losing some fuel pressure at redline with the stock pump.... threw on the Walbro today and now it's getting too much. Might have been able to eek out a bit more power but whatever, at least it was safe I guess. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score biggest jumps I'm seeing are ~10whp... ok so average that out- that's still like 270whp... next please. 15-16 psi but it creeps up to 17 by redline. 250wtq considered safe reliable limit... I'm there lol. Here is timing map. Y axis is KPa.. 212 is 16psi. Relatively aggressive timing. I stole it from someone who got a dynotune with GT2560R, but NA 1.8 (I should be able to run more timing than NA 1.8 because of my better head design). I tweaked it a little to smooth it out and that's what I ended up with. I'm also running 3gph nozzle water/meth as a safety blanket. |
