Stock Steering wheel reupholstery(?)

I haven't found a thread of anyone replacing the stock steering wheel leather on here, and was wondering if anyone's done it yet. I want to change it to alcantara/ perforated leather as opposed to the leather/perforated leather.

IF anyone has the template for the cover I'd give you my firstborn child in return.

Buy a cheap version of one of the wheel covers in the link, then make your own if you really want alcantara (which will become greasy, stained, and unpleasant very quickly, fyi)

Has anybody tried using these covers before? Mine has some discoloration and I'd like to replace it... Is it hard to do a good job putting them on?

I have the cover for the MZ6/MS6/Gen1MZ3/Gen1MS3, and made a post in the "what did you do to your ride today" and one or two other threads about it. It's vinyl, not leather, but it feels pretty good.

There are a couple there listed as full leather for ~$40 - ~$100 Has anyone tried one of those?
