Those are skinnies Cam, but you raise a good point with track weight. How was the prep on the car, gutted interior, or partial, etc...

I got all freek tuned and the POWAH was just too much.


Fortunately, it only cost like 300$ or so for act to rebuild the clutch like new.

Either way I'm not staying In first gear long enough. Thursday I'm gonna do some testing with it and see what happens. If then we can lower boost or I was thinking actually lower the limiter in first. Instead of all the way too 7600.

technically, if you're running a load tune, you could make power below spring pressure. ECU will close the throttle plate as long as you have your DBW tables setup appropriately. Most guys setup DBW wide open (90) above a certain load/RPM which would negate that ability IIRC. It's been awhile since I messed with that but I seem to remember that setting DBW to 90 turns off the ECUs ability to close the throttle to manipulate load.

I say technically because conditions that feed into the load calculation are definitely a moving target, as are track conditions.

seat time and setup are the best solutions for now The car obviously has the potential for 10.5 or lower.

You need to go higher in 1st and a bit lower on each other gears.

the power band get wider in each gear, so you need to shift higher in the first to make sure you get in the power band window and not under, so by shifting higher in first gear you are sure to be in the power band in the second gear and each time you shift another gear you shift lower in rpm to make sure to be as close as you can to the starting point of the power band window.

when i say power band window, i'm not only talking about the HP, there's a sweet spot where the hp and torque is at is peak and this is where you need to be when you shift.

I'm french so i'm not sure if what i wrote make sense, but this is how i manage to do my time with my speed3.

but the most important thing is the track prep and how they maintain the condition of the track the whole day, and that's why a did all my best time at the muscle car day at Napierville Dragway.

I'm revving out to 7600 and shifting right there. So when I ffs I'm back in the sweet spot as u can see 3rd and 4th gear take off. But I'm shifting too early cause I'm still spinning at the top of first which is why u hear the lag.
