I never thought we'd see an 11 second K04 setup, but... It looks like we will this year!

Did I read that you have a ported head? New valves etc?

Yeah, I PNP'd the Head and IM myselft when I had the car apart from my thrown timing chain. Same valves, just replaced the bent ones.

@Lex. Here you go, just got done doing a log. Temps were a bit warmer today, so the car wasn't pulling as hard as it did yesterday. Still a healthy 364/406 on vd 1.01cf.

I used to be targeting a 12.2, but screwed something up the night before the track and it was going 14.0 at WOT. Driver showed me a quick trick at richening it up to get it trackable. So that's where it's at for now, but I'll get it back down to 12.2

Take the weight out of the inside. Be there with 1/4 of a tank of gas (can of reserve), Try and find the smallest and skinniest wheel you can find for the rear and air them up to like 50psi. run the slicks down to 12psi in the front and heat them up. Go for broke. i have no doubt if you do these things you will see 11.7s on stock fucking turbo. Ya I ran 11.7@120 with my gtx3071 but what folks forget is I was only at 21-22psi which on that tune only dynoed 380whp uncorrected. I didnt have boost by gear so I had to deal with alot of power in 1st and 2nd. Runs were also done with headwind at 2700ft in dead of summer. DAA was around 6500ft that day. I have no doubt stock turbo cars can match that time and you better be ready for some suprising times. I bet you trap 116-118 and the shifts are gonna happen fast. Get some partner LOL

At your power level 127 traps would be minimum in my eyes. I think you will be around 128-130 truely. Im very excited to see what you run. The 26s will be the difference. I dont think you will need to go as low on the pressure. Id start off at 13-14psi and do a nice 1st gear burnout till smoke is slowly rolling over the hood and then drop the ebrake and let them pull you out. You will know they are ready cause they will howl/scream as you get about 10ft out of the water box. Also make sure that you pull through the water and stop on the outside edge. Dont wanna do the burnout in the middle of the water. Tires will be cooled back off as you go forward. Good luck pimp and make sure you text me out there. Im excited cause you fuckers get to run before me. I hope all you guys rock 11s and give me some competition out there. I wanna get some high 11s on k04 and 10.9-11.2 on my gtx3071.

I have a new found excitement after seeing all you guys step it up. Motivates me something fierce and when I got my game face on cool things happen more often then not. LOL

Bewsted and Phate Im excited to see how your guys compare. And even more so about Dturboman and Doubleflusher, how you guys compare. DF you better watch out for the lil 3071. Handle your business guys.

Driver theres a new record stock turbo srt running 11.7 @ 119 full weight, ewg , e85.
You guys need to.push that k04 hard this year. I know that a properly setup on e85 will trap 116 .driver and phate you guys will do some damage,i can feel it.

I am going to take my car seat and spare out and thats it....

I have a e85 map that I might even flash and just goto the track on without FULL BLOWN tuning it out.....

Hopefully i will be posting a 11 second 1/4 time in the thread next week...

After I make it there I will get the nitrous setup on and see just how deep into the 11s i can get on this micro snail.

Wish you best luck bro. Even if you get low 12s we all know once you dial the e85 in complently you will hit that high 11.
Cant wait to see what that ewg k04 does on corn.
