If you're stock, the only other one you have would be your tune. You can take a cooler and a few bags of ice, pop the cover off the tmic and ice down the end tanks after a few runs.

I can't in good conscience tell you to go above or below recommended psi in the tires.
I can tell you I ran 50 in the back and mid 20's in the front. Use that information at your own risk. I don't want you to blame me for a blow out and getting the wall at 102mph

Update on this guys, I don't know what I did, but I'm not experiencing the lockout issues anymore (I"ve only changed my tune/suspension since the last trip, but it has gotten a lot cooler around here).

Still have horrific launch issues. Wheel hop for days. Thinking about picking up a trilogy set of mounts . . .only have a rear at the moment.

Definitely get the DM trilogy mounts. 100% can't go wrong.

And also the ultimate solution to fixing gear shifting slop. I can ram it home like a boss now, and if I missed the gear, it's because I completely fucked up - nothing at all like the spongy hesitation and then thunking into gear like it used to.

DM Threesome > any shifter you can buy IMO.

I'm happy with my JBR Trilogy but some people are little babies and can't handle it, I've not heard anything bad about the DM trilogy either. Before I did a full replacement of my shifter, the solid bushing made a difference over the stock rubber bushing also.

I'm thinking jbr (just because I have a jbr rear, and it's great). Would that be worth it over getting a front slick setup? I'll probably do one or the other before winter hits.

Check your ball joints. I went through a couple as they were destroyed from hopping, fully mounted.
