LOL it's just a shit mic on that camera I think. The car is *not* loud at all. It's got a recirculated EWG so for the most part you can't even tell the car is turbo (BOV gives it away tho).

Nice car and good run. I dont think Civics are bad cars, usually just the honda "scene" that bothers me. My buddy at work had a 2008 civic si with intake, exhaust, and something else, and it was a quick little car for coming with only 200 hp.

That thing moves, Great kill, I also started on the Honda platform and i agree is a great platform but the majority of onwners are sooo much rice, when i left we were running low 11s (2000,2003), now my friends are running high 9s low 10s on a NA B18 engine (that they just blew btw) they run in the all motor category.

now they are installing a K20 from Kartel and were told that if they dont run 9.5 and the first pass they wont pay a dime (like 15K for that engine installed and everything) they are also overseas in Dominican Republic

Yeah it's not particularly hard to run 9's (even 8's in some cases) with an older Honda now -- the B's have come a long way and are "known", the guys doing the K's are finding out how superior the motor really is, especially swapping it into an older light chassis.

Forever, it's not even braking 500 at that boost level, the motor is very reliable at that power level. I'm more worried about shredding the teeth off 4th gear than breaking hte motor.

I'm a month late chiming in - but I'll add that *very* few cars crap out the magazine times on street tires with the average driver. The GT500 I watched at the local 1/8th mile was figure skating halfway down the track, and the only truly fast fire and forget cars are the superbly tuned GM traction control Z06 vettes.

Congrats on the very fast Civic. I had aspirations for my little EP3 before I realized it was the wrong platform for this kind of fun, but those engines are pretty amazing. I didn't feel like coming off the money for a head swap and turbo build, so the MS3 was a logical choice and better overall DD.
