Default MazdaBoy2.3's - Trip to the drag strip.
First time to the track with my speed.

Full interior minus the spare tire and had my 555's at 20psi.

Looking for recommendations/advice..

Here is my final of 4 runs (right lane).

Pretty good runs. Better tires/slicks weight reduction could probably get you to mid/low 12s pretty easily.

Nice runs, so close to 12s, what RPM did you cross the line at holding 4th in the vid.

Bouncing off limiter which is set at 6800. I shifted to 5th on the prior run and hit 115. I probably should have done the same in this run.

I ran 26 inch hoosiers QTP last time i went and short shifted at 6000 rpm cause of massive heat soak (even with meth) from 3-4-5th gear and did 13.2 @ 112.6 and failing oem clutch.
Just getting new clutch buttoned up and about to go FMIC before next drags in a few weeks. I'm limited at 6700 and was thinking of riding out 4th..but if i make the 380whp i do with no heat soak i may bounce too much for a stock block and not game to raise it to 7000rpm as it's a daily driver.

definitely raise the rev limiter. 7200 should be no problem for a few runs at the track and ride out 4th. though I'm no expert, that time is roughly my fastest with street tires too.
