(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  944 Turbo? Came across a local guy selling a 944 Turbo for a very reasonable price. And now I can't stop thinking about it. Since alot of you guys here have burned through a dozen track cars, anyone have experience with these? From my frantic reading yesterday it appears there aren't any hidden bombs with these (aka the IMS bearing on certain 911s). Timing belt and water pump have to be replaced every 30k, but as long as maintenance is done it sounds like they are solid. But shit, going from a rock-solid Mazda to a 30-year old German car...this has money pit written all over it. But it's a pretty money pit. PlatinumCore16 likes this.
