(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Rallysprints - Auto-X done right. I don't have the stomach to commit to navigating in any serious way but I think i'll enter my MS3 in the next event and the 2 of us can tag team driving/co driving responsibilities. I have only really done circuit driving so this is quite a different format to what I am used to. The stage changes with every event, you get 5 runs and the rankings are determined by adding your fastest 3 together. We ended up finishing 5th overall out of 75 entries. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I've entered next weeks round so I will get a chance to take Jeff around for a spin in the MPS. Can't say it will be all that impressive to him coming from his category winning Lotus, but Blue Steel has a tendency to surprise people at track days. I have never done a rallysprint before but I have done enough track days to feel comfortable in this kind of environment. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Well I was a lot slower then Jeff but it was my turn to drive this week! It's hard work with the MS3 gearbox because it really doesnt like going down into second gear at speed. The other problem I was having was when I hit the brakes in second gear it would keep popping out into neutral. You can see this happen several times during the run. Bonus footage of what we can see after the sun goes down. This run would have been my fastest if I didn’t miss 3rd gear going over the crest. Jeff had a different Co Driver this week but after his result was secured (4th out of 90 cars, I finished the night with a passenger run in his car and we actually wiped out a barrier at a blind corner where another car had dragged a heap of gravel onto the track. It was quite a big hit when his tail stepped out and smacked the barrier, damaging the rear clamshell and air intake but that's all part of the game when you're running at the pointy end of the field.
