(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Starting issue Problem statement: First start of the morning and the car has to crank a little to get started. Maybe 5-10 seconds. Car used to start and kick over in about 3 seconds. Got battery tested and they said it needed to be replaced. Replaced battery and still having issue. Also, car has a little hesitation after it's sat for 2-3 hours and then started. Car (Mazdaspeed 6) has 63K. When car is started it runs and drives normal. No issues at all once started. Items changed: Changed sparkplugs Performed oil change (was due) Changed battery and terminals Changed Air filter Measured 14.0V while car was running on battery terminals. Items left: Starter Alternator ? Anyone else have a similar issue they fixed.
