Very nice.

Lol made in 2010 :smashfreakB:

I was adding it as a sub and intentionally bumping it.

It's too bad it's not a sticky in the Diagnostic section.. not sure why it's in here.

This should be stickied

I second that for stickie... We need one for our speed6's too though. :/

rolanblack 08-04-2013 12:43 PM

@Raider; make into sticky please. Don't know how this was overlooked

Complete n00b question..

so the check engine light came on my '09 Speed3. I have scoured the sight to find out HOW to obtain codes and this is what I found...

don't listen to these goofs. hold down the trip meter reset button while turning the key to 'on'. you will see the flashing dashes. press it two more times and you'll then be in a diagnostic menu that will tell you the specific component that is failing. make sure you are in neutral, e-brake off, and not pressing any of the pedals (you may have to put a brick under a tire if you are on a grade). if you are pressing any of the pedals while doing this, they will fail the diagnostic check and youll have the CEL on for yet another reason. when i did this on mine, i even had the dome light on and the ECU flagged it. make sure everything is off!

If this is right, it went into a "Test" mode. went thru them all and didn't find a Pxxxx code. Closest thing I found was a 0043 with 22 underneath it. Someone school me...

If you don't have an AP, go to your local auto store to get the code pulled. I have not heard that before but I'm sure someone has

cutting out.

CorkSport short ram intake with turbo inlet hose, OBX catback exhaust, OBX downpipe ,front mount intercooler, blow off valve recirculating, access port v3, tuned to stage 3

ever since I put the OBX downpipe everytime I step on it it cuts out like its losing gas spark or air its also putting out that code p0137 which says Bank 1 sensor 2 circuit low and p0139and this one says the same thing pretty much except it says slow response

Can anyone help?

Make an intro thread, quit the "Stage 3" crap and get a real tune. That being said, you probably have an 02 extender and you don't want to use one. It will probably throw a different code when you take it out and you can just turn it off.

What does "On 2 Fuel" mean? Refer to code P0171

I have a '12 speed3 and it threw a p0300 and the mechanic drove the car and said it had no loss of power and the cel went away. the cel came back on recently and went away again. has anyone else had this problem?

There's a thread with a fix for p2006/p2009 on this very forum. Use the search tool in my signature if you need help googling.

CEL 2007 speed3

Should i be worried that my check engine light keeps coming on and shutting off for a few days. I recent did spark plugs, oil change, car has 140.000? should i get it in a shop and check head gaskets or anything serious? first speed3
