(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It all started the week I got it and I went right to the dyno (2004). Put down a whopping 148whp and 151 tq. Monster numbers I know. If anyones wondering, on a stock MSP a K&N Drop in filter will net you +3whp. Not bad for a drop in. The cars been through many stages, I was originally going for the 300whp number then some things happened with a certain vendor here and that really ruined everything for me so I decided to start over take the car in the direction that I originally wanted to take it in before i was persueded to take it to a high HP level. This may sound dumb but i refuse to run parts for somone who is dishonest. So i sold everything and came anew. Enter: Air to Water Intercooler. I know im not the first to run it but i believe im the only one running this setup this way and i know my setup is more efficient than the one I got the idea from. Air/Air is a very efficient setup however the ones that were avail at the time had way to many bends and extra piping and wasnt the quality i wanted (my FMIC pipes were rusting inside). My throttle response suffered due to the configuration of the system. Since the stock turbo's powerband is really low-mid it didnt make much sense to have poor throttle response. With the air to water ic i have less than 3 ft of total piping from turbo to TB . The nice thing about the air to water system is when i want to go out and mess around i just fire ice into the tank and it gets frosty quick! Brings the charge temps way down, and i have yet to heatsoak, even after an 7 hr roadtrip. I can step on it anytime and shes ready to go. All the work is custom and done by me (except the welding, that i had done since i dont have provisions for welding alum). In fact, i let that vendor who i had a problem with try to come anew and weld my pipes for me but they didnt follow my instructions at all and the hot pipe cracked in half lol. So i had turbohoses redo the charge pipe and it came out great. For Future plans, I will probalby build and forge the engine myself and get her up to 14 psi and call it a day. That puts me under the "Tranny Explosion" threshold but still has enough pep to enjoy it. Power wise i have no idea, i havent dyno'd it yet cause my lovely autometer nexus gauges dont have logging ability (software issue) nor an output wire so i couldnt tune the AFC. i just got a innovative LM1 so i can use that now. I plan to dyno it before i forge it. And thanks to all you guys for the compliments, it means alot.

| Not Ranked : 0 score That's one of the cleanest set-ups I've seen by far. I like the powdercoated Intercooler and valve cover. Good match. Were you able to maintain stock location for the fans with the new radiator?
