Hate to be a nit picker but I've been taught that when using a torque wrench for something as critical as engine internals you should minimize extension use and if at all possible not use one at all as the extensions can flex. Now how much this is or if it honestly makes a difference, I don't know, but I'll stick to it for peace of mind.

What you can sometimes get away with is to ask a pertinent question, related to the thread, that was not covered previously AND would benefit not only you but the entire community. Even then you'll likely get chastised somewhat and just have to take the heat like a man. This forum is not like any other...we have high standards that must be adhered to.

My intent was not so pedestrian, tho it was certainly worded that way, so shame on me. The intention is that like any good noob, he would start a new thread, state his issue or need, then follow up with what research he had accomplished already and offer thanks or kudos to this thread in the process.
