(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Remove the smaller front black plastic cover under the bottom front of the car, by removing the bolts and the 2 plastic clips. This allows access behind the grill for install. Cut part of the grill out to install the heads. I used a knife, you could use a dremel if you have one Install the heads using the supplied brackets, screwing into the stuff that looks like expanded polystyrene (but much tougher) behind the fascia. This was the easiest place for install that put the heads far enough apart, without fabricating a special bracket, my system is Blinder X-treme M25, and I used the cheetah wireless install kit so that I didnt have to mess with fishing stuff through or drilling the firewall. Make sure the heads are straight and level by using the supplied spirit levels (car must be on a level surface) and by measuring from the radiator to either side of each head (to ensure heads point straight down the road). Also make sure the heads have the sensors mounted to the sides or the car, that is the wire from the back of the head (Blinder) should be toward the center of the car. Fish the wires up through the top of the grill near where the hood latch is, Route the wires by the left headlight. and around the edge of the left fender toward the battery box I used the Cheetah wireless install kit, here is a pic of the kit conected to the blinder control box. The only part that is not waterproof is the Blinder control box, it goes in the supplied waterproof box fused cheetah system connects to the battery using 2 spade terminals. I stored the waterproof box and the rest of the wires behind the battery, in the battery box. Inside I connected the alerter box to the cig liter and stored the alerter box in the ashtray space There is a remote control on/off pictured below, for turning off the unit after slowing to the legal speed, so the LEO can get a legal reading. I have velcro'd it on the flat surface under the hand brake. Easy to find there, while slowing hand back to handbrake, thumb down to off button. Here are the photos of where I put the switch. Door open and door closed Pics of the finished result:

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So far I havent been shot at. I have tested it and it alerts and activates the heads. But it aint over till the car gets lasered and passes Oh and by the way if anyone else buys one PLEASE..... If you get an alert, slow down and then turn the unit off, allow the LEO to get a speed legal speed reading.... that way they wont be banned in other states.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Correct. I considered the LI, when I was deciding what to buy. My Blinder paid for itself already. It works real world. And costs less than half the $$ of the LI. I like value, the Blinder is value that works. Plus the LI doesnt have wireless setup yet, the Blinder does that was a huge plus for me. I wasnt 100% sure when I bought the Blinder (I saw the tests) but after my first "Save" I am a believer, it works and it is a LOT cheaper! Not only did it work, it worked in a difficult situation, the LEO was way up on an overpass and off to the side.

I am no expert, I advise you ask here, they know their stuff: Laser Jammers - Radar Detector Jammer Forum IMO unless you always drive the limit or less everyone should but a radar detector and a laser jammer. My detector has saved me a ton of $$ And now my Laser jammer too. The last ticket I got was laser that why I got it.

You can put up to 4 heads. I choose to do 2 heads on front, if I get "taken from behind"........ LOL I will then add heads on the back. The chances of being lasered from behind right now are EXTREMELY small and doesnt justify the added cost of the heads on the rear. IMO.
