How do the rubber o-rings effect the feel of pushing it down for reverse? I could imagine it makes it very spongey.

Its awesome to see Nator Performance has finally gotten some recognition for their V2.0 Washers.

Great question. I thought the same. I can't even notice it. It's solid like my cock.

I think it's due to two things, the diameter of the o-rings is quite small, also like my cock. So there isn't much give at all. Also, the washers as you can imagine is stiff... again like my cock.

Oh and another thing to note. Ideally you'd want the shift boot height to JUST about hit where the knob would stop threading naturally. This way pushing down on the knob is not really pushing on the boot at all (where any sponginess would be felt), and it's really already bottomed out internally in the knob itself (with included height adjustment spacers).

I actually did this already. Bought some washers at the store and i'm very happy with where it's at now.

I installed only the 1 single locking nut inside the top of the shift knob and that was about enough of what I wanted in terms of a compromise of drop but keeping it shorter.

This is the best pictures I had taken before and after:

Before

After

or two washers with a small bushing between them. Bottom line, this gets you thinking about solution that works for you.

Indeed! Some people like the short height, and others like it stock, and in some cases even taller. I like them nice and tall personally

No idea, I would likely guess some common harness for a regular 3's sunroof or other option or maybe Bose shit that I don't have.
