How many of you have actually delt with MPS garage and how many are just going by what others have experienced. Just trying to get more information.

I could not put a number to the amount of people that have dealt with MPS Garage but I would say near on 90% of people, that I know of, who have dealt with them...Never would again.

Perhaps send Jmac (he is in this thread) a PM. He is, after all, one of the administrators of OzMPSClub, and was the agent behind removing them from our forum.

At the end of the day, whether you keep MPS Garage as a distributor or not, could you free up your US distributors to sell us parts, or sell to us direct from you in the interim.
There are people who want your gear now, and cannot get them.

Our forum members do not want to buy from a vendor that has been banned from our forum, which is understandable....Could you see people on MSF being forced to do that? What do you think the ramifications would be?

Corksport will deal with us direct, so will JBarone....Feel free to join the club lol.

Food for thought cp-e:

MPS garage were, and remain, temporarily banned from OzMPS due to "allegations" that their staff were registering as regular forum users & customers of theirs, in order to shamelessly promote their business, this came about in relation to a number of member complaints and a hear-say conversation to the same effect some time prior to the said banning.
Their banning is not permanent, they just haven't been able to table any evidence to the contrary.

Prior to this event, MPSG were not offered the opportunity to renew their forum sponsorship package due to numerous service related member complaints to the forum staff, the forum not wanting to be tainted by association, declined their sponsorship deal, with the best interests of the community in mind.

TBH, I dont care about MPSG, Im not asking for them to be dropped by CPE.
What im asking for is for CPE to stop locking us into dealing with a single shop. Its BS.

Ive had other stores tell me 'I cant sell to you' because of CPE+MPSG.
This is not even legal in Australian law. Australian Competition Law
This stops people buying CPE gear.
This gives CPE a bad name by association.
It is not in your best interest.
It pisses off your other sellers.

Dont drop MPSG as a distributor/re-seller, just allow us access to all of your re-sellers/distributors.

I was going to write up a long winded tale of woe about my dealing with MPSG in a bid to convince you CP-e, but at the end of the day, it is easier for me to just buy from one of your competitors instead than being forced to explain myself to you. I just don't care enough right now.

Corksport and JBR have both seen the light with this joke of a situation.

The craziest thing is you don't even need to do anything to make it right. You are actively expending energy enforcing a rule that goes against your best interests. Allowing Edge and other stores to sell to us will cost you nothing.

Just FYI I did not get the braided clutch line yet and I have not been contacted by mpsg even tho they promised they will give me a call on Monday or Tuesday to confirm if they are getting them in this week (not likely)

This is enough reason for me not to order it because I'd rather get it sent direct with the suppliers and have a guaranteed 7-10 working day wait.

I myself was also in the market for bits and pieces (RMM, diff mounts etc) but if this doesnt get resolved in a timely manner I will be looking elsewhere.

There is only so much begging one can do to give you their money.

I have to agree. This is taking too long for something relatively simple.

While the issues with your distributor may take some time to substantiate and resolve, there are plenty of alternatives that you could have put in place by now.

Had everything installed to find out that I received a 75duro REM even though I requested a 60. Even the sales invoice itself stated 60duro! Instantly didnt like the feel it so I enquired as to why I received a 75 in which they responded with 60duro being applicable to mazda 3 (not MPS) and is not covered under warranty. This seems odd when many distributors including CPe themselves provide 60duro and 75duro options. Do you guys think this is a cover up from exchanging or refunding for their error?

Yeah, perhaps they will notice when CPE and MPSG stop cirlce jerking each other...

If a shop set up and EBAY page selling CPE parts then they could sell them worldwide no hassle. You cannot restict trade on EBAY

But I guess that shop wouldn't want to hurt their chances of being a CPE distributor.

We can and we sometimes use freight forwarding but that isn't the point. Our USA friends would be up in arms if you couldn't order a certain brand from your favourite store and were forced to use a certain, unfavourable store instead.

MPS garage are jokes, was way cheaper (around $30) with shipping direct from Corksport for their stage 2 intake to Australia than to go through MPSGarage who are 20 mins away . The mark up price MPS garage do is fucking criminal. CPE you are a well known and respected product in AUS deal with us direct please.

Focussing on their high pricing is completely missing the point, their issues are building cars that don't work, giving bad advice, constantly shifting blame on everyone else, not responding to enquiries, taking months to order your gear yet only minutes to charge you for it, screwing up basic installations and impersonating satisfied customers.

Their uncompetitive pricing pales in comparison to the rest of the farce that is iirps.

For something that will take quite literally less than a snap of the fingers this is taking pretty bloody long to sort out.

I am keen to hear what the wording is in this agreement is that prevents Edge from selling to Australian customers. The agreement is between MPSG and CP-e. Edge should have nothing to do with it, nor should any of the other retailers that we are currently buying CP-e gear from.

I fitted my Stage 2 REM last week, it works great! And it only took a few days to arrive from the states. Unlike the standard 2 months it would have taken if I bought locally.

We've helped a few Australian customers with shipping MS3 parts down under this past week and it's worked great. We do stock CP-E though instead of drop shipping so this may have something to do with it. We are happy to help where we can, if anyone is interested it only takes a few seconds to get a shipping quote to Australia through our website.

Their dealer agreement does not say anything where we are unable to ship internationally. There are stipulations if you have them drop ship internationally but that is it.
