| Not Ranked : 0 score no, I watched the tuning the whole process... their was no KR, nor any negative timing adjustments on the standback log. he said there was still about 7-8* of timing play on pump gas but that it likely wouldnt result in enough power difference to be worth it.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score We have A LOT more big announcements coming. This was just the beginning. I am hoping I can get a few more big turbo built blocks to come up here or send their ecu's in.We do need to make sure you have certain parts as our flashes are made for a specific combination of some parts. I will be making some writeups on what needs to be purchased and done to allow this type of success. I will stress that I would NOT recommend doing what we did here with Sean on a stock motor. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I can't wait until we're at the point we have a set list of known mods that WILL give you 500whp and 20,000 miles of driving to back them up. Once that is established I'll pour my money in! A big thanks to the venders and owners that put their shit on the line to make this all happen!!!

| Not Ranked : 0 score
I won't go into details on RR but the dynos the posted have been manipulated a bit. We have the runfiles for those who want them of our runs. I will let them do their own thing as we don't make the parts they are trying to sell. Their dynos just don't even come close to looking legit.
WOW!!! That is not just unprofessional but quite an insult to Race Roots! Since you are the official public spokesman of CP-E and therefore speak for the entire company, tell us, what proof do you have that they manipulated their dyno’s? To make such a claim surely you have proof? Actual proof, not opinion please. |

| Well i still believe with additional fuel volume, the Rod wont exit as quickly as a fuel starved engine. Whatever the wall paremeter is, may be a key to higher horsepower stock engines. We will soon see.. I suggest Darky tries it out since he isnt married yet.

just like you run out of efficiency at 20+psi on the stock turbo at higher rpms, any turbo is going to do the same if its too small to do what your asking it to do.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Technically I think when tis out of efficiency TQ would actually go up and HP would level off or drop. Example is like when we spin our baby stock turbos to all hell we still make tq but no power.

| Not Ranked : 0 score no, when you spool a stock turbo to 24psi, it may be in its efficiency at 3000rpms.... but when you try to keep that boost level up at 6000rpms, its not so easy. torque will drop. similar effect here. its ok out of its efficiency, makes 400tq at 3800rpms.... but it starts to be out of range and begins to drop off.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I would venture to say that 500whp is WAY out of a 3071's efficiency. The 3071 is a strong 415-435whp turbo. It can make more but not efficiently. A 3076 is better suited for the mid 400s and a 35r is the 500 territory. The thing you guys should always remember is bigger isn't always better. You want to properly size a turbo for your vehicle. If you want a solid 360 you want to go with a 2871. If you want a solid 400-425 you want a 3071. If you want 450ish you want a 3076. If you want HUGE power 35r. The 35r will make 550 on this engine. Properly sizing a turbo is the most important thing to remember. For this car I would stay away from a T4 turbo. A T3 35r with a .82 back housing will make tons of power. If you want to make even more you can always put the 1.06 on it for the track just make sure your ready to support what that can make. |

![]() Give me some time to hop on a dynojet. I'll try to do it soon. I think you'll be pleasantly suprised.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I won't go into details on RR but the dynos the posted have been manipulated a bit.
I am not from cpe, and im the one who brought it into play that it may have been altered then people got suspicious and rr had their thread closed, so you make your own assumptions about what went down. Look at rr's graph, their lack of info, and tell me you wouldnt think the same. Congrats on the numbers, and making dam good power especially for this turbo, maybe even better than comparable platforms, 428whp on 19psi on a 3071 which is pretty small in terms of big turbos is a great accomplishment.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Perhaps i'm referencing an atr limitation or an ecu limitation... I'm not sure ...but after i calibrate for a 3.25" maf housing, i end up with a plateau near the upper voltage range of fixed 500 g/s, cause that's the highest value ATR will let you enter into that table. If (big if) it's an ecu limitation, then you'll max out the g/s before you reach 5v on the sensor.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I want to know what CPE can do for me power wise with the standback, if I just go intake, exhaust, manifold and bigger turbo, and keep the engine stock. Essentially bolt ons + bigger turbo and CPE fueling magic tuning solutions. |
