I had the 55% locked in but my brain took over and realized it wouldn't be in my best interest right now to drop almost $700. It hurt me physically to close the page.

Everyone can apply the codes before check out. For example, the 60% discount today, You can apply the code until the first person completes the checkout process. If the discount is removed when you try to check out before inputing your payment information that means the code was used.
Our site gets hit with thousands of people doing the same thing each time we post the sale. This is why our server runs slow or crashes. It was probably my own fault as I had the coupon applied but was doing just a little bit more research before I pulled the trigger.
