What they put us through? Jesus, are we really that much of a whiny ass, first world problem consumed group that waiting for something related to our hobby is now "putting us through" something?

My job puts me through shit. They literally demand that I complete these tasks every day, I tolerate it because they compensate me for it. Last I checked, the CP-e intake manifold thread, wasn't even created by CP-e. There was not, and still isn't, a promised deadline that everyone could have their shiny new toys. If they rushed it to market and something failed, how quickly would we have a SURE 2.0 couch burning session? They haven't put us through anything besides finally acknowledging the damn thing exists and then asking us what colors we would like to see them available in. In turn we act as though they have clipped battery jumpers to our nuts and strapped us to chairs with intake manifolds dangled in front of us.

This is not a CP-e exclusive problem. Every vendor here that has any project in the work, as soon as even a whiff of it reaches MSF, gets tossed on the fire to hurry up and produce. I am half curious to do a search of MSF for "2 weeks" and see how many responses pop up across the entire vendor section here. If you can design, mule, mass produce, and bring products to market faster, by all means do it. Then you can shut all of them down and have the market cornered! Too bad it'll be a market consisting of a nearly decade old engine platform that has been dead for years.
