Default Cp-e TMIC Fitment fail

So ive had my tmic installed for around two weeks now. Was doing an oil change yesterday. Found that the front left corner of the ic is rubbing insideon the ducting of the hood.

I checked fitment of hood and all motor mounts. everything appears normal. I adjusted the rubber stops for the hood anyway. Dont think it will make any difference.

I have noticed when driving the engine does feel likes it rocking like a worn rmm. I had installed the cp-e rmm about year and a half ago . less than 20k miles. The rocking was gone when i first installed it but had gradually returned some.

Pics are not the greatest all i had was my shitty cell phone at the time. I noticed when inspecting the rmm that it almost appears the big end of the bushing is offset slightly. sits flush on one side and indented on the other. Then when prying on the engine with a pry bar with some effort there will actually end up being a gap between the housing and bushing of the big end. There are no tears or anything in the bushings. I dont remember what it looked like new.

Wondering what cp-e has to say about this. I also attached a pic for all you gen 2 guys. Even the shroud on mine has the black wear marks.

Im looking at your pictures and I cant understand what your complaining about? The RMM or the TMIC. As for the black marks on your shroud...thats where you would want them. I have them on my ets shroud, engines move they rub. Where you dont want them is on the fins.

might want to check your side mounts also. If it's pushing to one side, one of your side mounts might be shot

The shroud marks i was just saying cause the gen pu guys have been whining about there marks on the IC since they have no shroud and it seals on the fins..... youll have marks either way.

What im complaining about is the IC rubs on the undershide of the hood. so i was trying to determine why by checking the mounts. You can see the shiny spot on the weld in the front corner as well as where its rubbing under the hood.

Ive checked all 3 mounts and all appear to be fine. Not sure if i could possibly have an issue with that rmm tho. I wasnt sure if the bushing is supposed to seem offset and soft enough that i can pry and create a gap in the mount, like the bushing has compressed slightly causing too much rocking making the IC rub on the hood

When I had my stock RMM and the ETS 3.5" TMIC, the IC rubbed exactly in the same spot as yours. After I got the CPe RMM, the rubbing went away. The 3.5" ETS, from what I can tell, is a lot larger than the CPe tmic, so you should not be having any rubbing issues imo.
