dh mount

anyone have it? i bought one from cpe this morning, hopefully it will cover the hole i drilled on top of the vent to mount the aluminum bracket the dh came with

Would it be a major hassle to run the DH cable through the defrost vent, and have it come out the bottom? Also, does the DH attach to the mount with velcro?

I'm not really sure. I didn't try to run it that way because of the plug. I have the wire and connectors to make a custom cable, I was thinking of tapping into the OBD wires going to the port. I ordered the wrong pins or I would have done it already.

You attach a plate to the back of the DH and then the plate clips onto the mount.

i have mine in that position just with the aluminum plate instead of the cpe part i bought today....u can tuck the wire in between the panels under the weatherstripping.... u will not see it....

I know you wont see it, these were taken right after I attached the mount, right now I have it tucked pretty good. Only thing that gets annoying is where to place the extra cord after you plug it in

i wrapped the extra aroubnd the dongle of the dh and zip tied the loops together and tight so i haz no extra visible cord
