It's here!

I was surprised to see it as I hadn't gotten any shipping notice. But I did receive mine today. I need to weigh it, it feels like 20 lbs.

I got in the same box my 3 mount that I ordered for my wife's regular 3. I thought they were both using 50 duro blue rubber. The 3 mount came with black rubber and it feels harder than the rubber on the diff mount. I guess that is off topic here, but, if CPE happens to have a quick answer, that would be great.

i wonder what he "paid" cpe for that mount when he signed the contract with them(sarcasm). whatever it was he made a pretty nice profit margin on it when he dumped it on you. im just a bitter bitch right now when it comes that cat.

as far as youre concerned skater... im glad you got it. to bad he didnt GIVE it to you so you could have actually given a few impressions of it, and even promoted it. thats what that mount youve got was intended for.

Can you take the measurement from the center of the upper holes closest to the legs to the center of the leg holes? I want to compare to the SU models that I found the problems with over on the other forum.

I had it installed today. I was out of town the week before Christmas so I just got to do it now. I forgot to weigh it or take the measurements that Jmhinkle wanted, sorry.

I was a pussy and had it installed at a shop. I'll try to take some pictures of it installed this weekend. I don't feel any difference, but, I already had the TurbineTech part, so, I wasn't expecting to. But, between those two mounts, there ain't no way in hell that diff is gonna break free.

I could be full of shit, I'm not a mechanical engineer. But, I think people make too much of an issue about different duros of mounts. I'm pretty sure the duro is only one part of the equation as to how much force each mount absorbs. Another issue is the size. A thicker bushing of a softer duro is actually stiffer than a stiffer duro thinner bushing. Then there is the mechanics of the angle, where the fulcrum is verses where the force is coming from. In short, the different duro doesn't concern me at all.

Now, I do have a stock 07 diff mount with TT bushings installed. I don't know why anybody would want it, but, if anybody would have a use for it, I'd give it away just for shipping cost.
