| Not Ranked : 0 score I would rather CP-E put their efforts into designing a user/pro tunable flash device then try and create one more parameter that can fuck up an otherwise good day. I beleive in KISS. The less extra nonsensical crap added here and there the better. Consistancy is the key to making a car make power safely and repeatably. Complexity is the enemy of consistancy. If you program something with safe A/Fs and safe timing tables, and consistant repeatable steady boost curves, your car WILL stay together no matter how you drive it. One last thing. Its not like the people complaining about having it turned off have ANY plans on buying a standback, so why are we still talking about it. I'm ready to see some numbers yall

| Not Ranked : 0 score I very well might go back to CP-E standback and flash if i dont think cobb/christian can meet my goals. I havent come to that point yet as i have been held back by lack of fuel. That is being resolved soon so we will see where we end up and go from there.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I hope all the bickering is over, got in late and couldn’t catch up. Congrats to the guys at CPe who managed to reverse engineer the ECU fuel cut. I’ve done some debugging on motion control systems under covering hardware and software flaws so from experience I bet the CPe guys are still walking on cloud 9. There’s time for the debate over the need for a safety system and how best to implement it. There’s nothing more useless as a safety system that nuisance trips all the time. With sub milli-second processing times, I bet CPe could add a high speed output to the SB and allow a tuner to build his own safety system if he wishes. While I’m not going to take my project past 350 whp or so. Those of you that do are helping all of us by showing it can be done, bring more interest to this platform. The bigger the market, the more that will become available for the everyone. Way to go CPe! |
