The statement was that you could fit any size, any scroll.

I have no doubts you can fit any stock size/t25 flanged turbo in there...

Twin-scroll tubular mani is what that f-r post is talking about...

I'm not the one to debate the actuality of this, but based on their experience in doing nothing but engineering turbo kits, I can't dismiss their opinion...

On MSF first! (Sorry it took a bit longer than I said).

Sorry I didn't take better pictures of the clearance between the block. This should give you an idea that there aren't any fitment problems with the TiAL housing. It is tight though, FR is correct, It would be very difficult to get anything else larger than that in there.

The Compressor housing is close to the block as it is, and the exhaust housing is positioned in such a way that the DP has to have a rather tight radius to clear the alternator. Anything larger than a 35R (ie 4088, 4294, 4202) wouldn't fit very well / at all with out massive relocation work.

Massive relocation is what the modding game is all about.....

How about a 3.5" od inlet pipe that will fit the the 35r? I am trying to fab one up...and it sucks!! Shifter cables, and heater hoses are kicking my ass...

The aren't going to be many people who might run anything larger than a GTX3582. I think size wise we are OK with the Garrett line up to 35 frame size. Twin scroll is really what's needed so you can have less back pressure via larger A/R and better spool.

I bet a twin scroll GTX3582 with a 1.06 housing would spool as fast, or even faster, than an ATP housed GTX3076

But could you even use the power? I decided on the GTX3076 with the Tial 0.82 turbine. There just didn't seem any piont to going larger.

I figured I might as well use the power to get to 120 faster.

I'm going to be swapping gears back and forth between the 1 and 2 gen trannys. I'm going to make the ratios longer. I hope there will be less wheel spin and more acceleration since the car will now be making the power for it.

I'll keep everyone posted as to how it goes.

We have not tried the manifold with anything EFR yet. I would love to, although time is tight right now, and it may not be in the cards for a while.

I wonder how much more power he'd make at 20 psi when I doesn't have a goddamn flame thrower on the end of that mani.

25psi at -40*F? Our turbo cant flow that much air and I am not sure that the stock tmic can either. The fact that he did it with 110* bats tells me it was really cold and this was not a normal run. Thats like 2.7 load which is unheard of for the stock turbo, im running around 2.3 under 4k which is on the high end.

Having said that, props to cp-e to making a mani that can pull that off at any temp.

FWIW, that same installer had multiple install issues with this manifold. I dont know the full story but i have been told it relocated the turbo so you need to bend the oil/coolant lines, you cant actually reuse the stock studs because the runners block the holes on the turbo flange, and you need to remove the VC to get it on there (not a deal breaker but i doubt it was mentioned in the instructions).

@drummermike58 can tell you/verify the rest, just putting it out there. Also the installer is a helicopter mechanical for the military and has all sorts of car projects going on so hes no n00b.

@drummermike58 can tell you/verify the rest, just putting it out there. Also the installer is a helicopter mechanical for the military and has all sorts of car projects going on so hes no n00b.
More info please...like installer and whose car those logs came from.

Glorified Bozo is running 30psi with stock mani (I think).

E85 tuned to spike to 30 psi...

@ChimmyChong not holding 25psi to redline dude...knowone can do that on k04...knowone I tell you!

Thats like 2.7 load which is unheard of for the stock turbo, im running around 2.3 under 4k which is on the high end.

Having said that, props to cp-e to making a mani that can pull that off at any temp.
not unheard of at all...just not common. I'm hitting 2.6+ at 3k and holding till 4500 rpm.

Just to clarify a few things. This manifold is nice as shit. There were only a couple minor hiccups that were resolved by buying a couple new bolts, no biggie. You DO NOT have to relocate your turbo for this mani. In addition, Jonathan and I installed this mani from the top. It was built with the idea that it should be installed fromthe bottom. Like remove dp, turbo, etc which we did not want to do. We scratched the firewall before realizing you need to remove the vc t install from the top. Alsoyou will need two hex head bolts to replace two studs on turbo flange and one stud needs three threads removed from its length (nut side of stud) to fit under the fifth runner.

If installing mani from the top, remove the top most passenger side manifold stud and the valce cover to get it it fit.

We were the first ppl to install this manifold so of course there were a couple very minor corrections needed. CPE has been notified and are likely going to make adjustments. I am likely going to get this mani and i already have a dnp. Great craftsmanship and the EWG being optional is huge...
