Could you give me a little more info on how his car runs? I really like the ewg+ cpe mani setup.

I too still have the stock tmic but am lucky to have e85 nearby, I guess what im trying to say is would it be worth it to get this before a fmic because I'd really like to get this first. Thanks.

I love seeing quality American made products like these...of course, since I work in manufacturing, I might be biased.

ewg k04 could certainly hold boost... just load up a very stiff spring. @bewsted is gonna be trying something very similar soon.

Whether or not it actually makes more power however..... TBD lol.

My K04 pegged out at 28 PSI (at 2300 RPM!!!) when I lost the bottom nipple on my WGA.

The exh mani pressure was opening the IWG at that point. But if you had put a stiffer spring in there, you could have forced it to hold much more i bet.

My ko4 pegged my 3bar map around 3500rpm when I was dicking with some different wgdc values (which I screwed up) and it was showing no signs of slowing down. I had the ptp 18lb wga, gs ebc in interrupt, ets tmic, and a 3" turbo back at the time.

No knock either

I plan to be running a PG v3 38mm EWG. Looking to push 23-24 psi and hold it. DURR i forgot i will be running a MBC...so fuck WGDC and let that bitch run. Oh and i do plan to weld the flapper shut!

I will go back to my stock gutted downpipe and testpipe and run stock turboback straight pipe with a muffler single exit (All in the sake of having a little bit of back pressure.)

I'm sure you know this but the turbo is enough back pressure so no need for extra back pressure.

just got off the phone with cp-e, they will NOT be selling this mani t3'd only flangeless if you wanted to go that route. the explanation they gave me was very reasonable.

yea, e85 station is 40 miles away through 3 major cities across northern VA and Washington DC... Fuck that.

Now, good job on .5 faster 0-100 on e85, do it on 93...

To be honest this manifold design is completely wasted with the stock flange.

If you bought it with the stock flange I'm sorry but you wasted your money. You should have gone with Racebuilt.

Think about it, you'll get equal length runner which isn't going to give you any noticeable advantage on the K04 or the ATP turbos compared to another setup.

Since most are likely to be cheap and not run the EWG, why even consider this manifold.

They have a V-band downpipe which hasn't been released yet that is sized to work properly with this manifold for Tial and precision turbines. That's the main advantage here, to rid yourself of the stock flange, and the ATP turbine. I'm having a downpipe custom made for my setup. I want the option to swap between a screamer pipe and plumb back wastegate setups.

The downpipe was released a long time before this manifold was even considered if it doesn't fit who cares. I'm not going to reuse my CPE downpipe with this manifold. Even so if you got the second 02 bung it's not a problem at all, as Eric demonstrated in his build thread.

This is my alternate route if my other option falls through, i am curious as to whether or not this ACTUALLY does move the turbo and if there are any issues with it mating up to the DP with a GT3076.

No, why would I? That's my opinion. If you don't like it groan it.

I have one of these manifolds one of the first ones, so I'm not saying this manifold is bad. I'm saying it's a waste of money used on the stock flange.

If you don't make use of the EWG then whats the piont? If you do use it an EWG with an ATP hotside you are still stuck with a tiny hotside. Install for this manifold is a bitch so why would you subject yourself to that to make the car sound like a Honda with no appreciatable gains.
