(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I called today to verify there was stock and find out if they thought it would be ready by the end of today or the end of tomorrow so I could spin by. When I made the comment that I would be spinning by to pick it up I was told "No you won't" and then told that because the shipping department is busy, they have stopped local pickups. Now, maybe my logic is flawed but that makes no sense to me. How does my picking up the part increase workload on the shipping department? Not to mention, for all I care they can grab the part in the back and hand it directly to me. I don't need boxes or packing as I'm just going to tear it open and install the part. Regardless, the point of my post is this. I would urge you, CP-E, to reconsider this course of action. I can't be the only local who finds it both cheaper, faster, and more convenient to pick the part up. I can't be the only local that has been swayed in a decision between a part from two different companies by that convenience. Is it really such a huge task to NOT ship something for a customer who just spent hundreds of dollars at your business and would like to swing by and pickup?

If you purchase direct from cp-e and would like to pick up the part please put it in the order comments like @iammike; has done and then call with the order number and schedule a pick up time/date so we can set it aside for you.
