Being a person who doesn't like NVH I might be giving this mount a shot(the deisgn just seems to be that would definitely would not transfer as much NVH as a basic style mount).

For those who have used both, which is less vibey Stage 1 65duro or the Stage 2?

I know I'll be needing to mount up donw the road, just want to find something that holds the engine better with least amount of NVH possible.

Hmm, decisions decisions. Right now I don't make enough power to warrant a big upgrade but when I start I'll have to decide on which route to go.

the stock one seems to be terrible no matter how much power someone is making.

Mine hasn't been "terrible" but there can be MUCH room for improvement.

I'll keep an eye out for a CPE Stage 1 60(65) duro to pick up(hopefully as the stage 2 orders get sent out, will start seeing more stage 1 used for sale).

So, everyone is happy with the CP-E, but I'll tell you what, I was super happy with my COBB RMM. (I'm going with JBR side mounts while I'm putting in the engine now)

Go tell it in Cobb's forum then. This is a product review thread for this vendor's parts.

I will say this, CPE Stage 2 RMM, awesome, saw a few folks here on the forums upgrade their mounts and upgrade again; I have no desire, did it once. I will have Corksport on my PMM and I haven't decided yet on the transmission but its failure will follow. We can all agree that the stock mount sucks for anything but 'normal' driving, I had firewall clunks and wheel/torque steer with the stock tune.. none of it now.... Shortly after installation though I got an engine code, the neutral switch in the transmission is 'faulty' I wouldn't think it possible and haven't had a chance to look underneath but the timing on install and failure were awfully close.

Off throttle de-accelleration seems to be the 'worst' for me; it is noticeable at times, cold initial start and sub 80 MPH freeway cruise, but not as constant as the others I think. Mostly I notice it in the rear view mirror and no where else

Off throttle decel isn't bad for me you know its there but it isn't unbearable with the jbr my dashboard was rattling to pieces, I see it mostly in the rearview and something rattles in the driver door or driver mirror

I bought the CP-E Stage II RMM used, about 6 months old, so already broken in. On a scale of 1-100, was about a 5 with the NHV. SURE 70a duro was 0 after break-in. That being said, SURE mount didn't hold engine in place on my 300ish whp tune much better than stock, def somewhat, but not enough for me. The tiny bit of NHV that comes with the STAGE II CP-E is nothing any can't handle. Now the addition of upgrading my PMM and TMM TO JBR 80a duro in addition to it has made for a whole different story. But they've only been in a week and already are calming down. Hardly worth even mentioning though now that torque steer and wheel hop are eliminated. I said it earlier, and will say it again. The CPE Stage II RMM is the best there is on the market, and I'll never need a new one again. But if you really want something that's a fart in the wind better than stock, I'll be putting my SURE 70a duro up for sale in the VIP for sale section today or tomorrow. Cheers!

I installed my CP-E stage 2 about a thousand miles ago. It's such a handsome piece of metal that I felt bad about hiding it under my new aluminum skid plate.

But what a difference. The RMM is my only performance mod, and yet it changed the entire character of the car. Everything feels more connected. Yes, there is more noise on the cabin. Performance noise. I love it.

When it comes to motor mounts, I'm all about CP-E. I've had the S2 RMM for over a year. After having stock, then CorkSport inserts, then JBR 88 Dogbone, I've been in love with the S2 every since.

A couple of days ago, I got the CP-E 60duro PMM and yup, love the thing. My TMM only has the CorkSport insert in it at the moment but I hear the TMM is prone to failure so I'll probably be getting a CP-E 60 duro TMM in the near future.

^^^^ Tytanium, who did you order it from? I ordered one from RPM and was able to get 10% and got it within three weeks. It's just sitting in my garage waiting to be installed and has been there for two weeks or so now.

Yeah man, I ordered mine WELL after that and have had it for a couple of weeks now just waiting to be installed. It could have to do with your local vendor. You may want to give CP-E a call given everyone I know that was on backorder already has one in hand...

i have been watching the rallysport site to see if they ever got any in stock just to sort of see when companies would be starting to get them. 2 days ago their site said "On Order - Estimated ship date if ordered today : April 29". Just checked now and it now says "Out Of Stock - Estimated ship date if ordered today : June 5". I contacted rallysport about it and asked if a shipment came in that sent out and they are out of stock again and they said the shipment never came and was pushed back by CP-E by ANOTHER month.

This is getting a tad rediculous with basically no updates from CP-E on this.

Guess May 7th wasn't true. Still hasn't come into Rallysportdirect. Guess I shouldn't be surprised at this point -_-

So I had the mount for a month and a half I guess and just got around to the install. I removed a Corksport race rear motor mount with an 80 duro bushing in it. I had recently replaced the stock bracket that mounts to the trans as the bushings in that were wearing out and also created a shim to fill in the gap between the bolt that runs through the RMM and the trans bracket. The RMM was tight but there was space where the bolt runs through the aforementioned bracket allowing the mount to move a tad. So anyway, the new one is in and there is definitely more vibrations at idle but the shifting is also much more crisp. I'm sure the vibes will settle down but all in all, a well made piece that I think will do a better job than the mount I had on since it replaces another weak link in the stock bracket most RMM's mount to.
