didnt have my lappy with me at the time, but it seems to be quite repeatable with the lower temps at night, so ill see if I can grab something tonight I do know I spiked at 20.8 boost at one cut, 19.8 at another cut and 18.3 at another cut. ran the normal fmic map and the low wastegate map and it happened at the same spot on both of em. | |

I thought Cobb raised the boost limit? im running the low wastegate map as well. I think timing was -1 at the cut as well |

what was the temp and how many miles are on that map. I came across similar symptoms when originally trying to run the stage 1 (stock intake) on the ms cai, I would hit overboost and cel.....but after a few hundred miles I could not duplicate it. | |

temps 60 +/-5 I didnt get a cel either time, just awful slam the brakes type cut. The way I was logging at the time missed the boost spike and map pressure only shows 33.06 which is 18.4psi or so since im right at sea level and its raining tonight. there was 0 KR at the time of the cut, before or after. timing dropped from 46 all the way to -1 (what my shit recorded) RPM was roughly 5400 throtle was at 68% at the time and dropped to 11.8% as soon as cut hit (the way i logged made the graph latent, next time ill have it lookin better) I beat the shit outta the car on the way home and was unable to replicate it, but im sure its not gone, especially since its still relatively warm out. | |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score well, cold weather will always naturally raise your boost so if you are borderline at regular temps you could see enough of an increase for the ECU to interfere on behalf of your engine's lifespan. The other, like I said before could be from just the ECU not having adapted yet , which has happened to me a couple of times I tried maps with higher boost and 20-40 miles only of initial driving (and of course flooring it) |

"103v STAGE2 MSF MAPS" then lets get some REAL feedback that MOST of us could relate to...

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'd definitely doublecheck that with Cobb as my understanding is that an AP designed for one car model will NOT work on another model, even if their ECU architecture is the same. I don't know for sure, but that was my understanding. Hopefully I'm wrong! I'd definitely check with Cobb before buying one though if that's a concern. |

I figured stock would cut like crazy, and the MSF maps are generall better than Cobbs, so I havent cared to switch to anythig else. This is v102, Im anxious to try v103... should it be released by the time I go in for tuning.

I myself have gone through all the emotions of being excited originally, to being patient when the first few maps blew to where I seriously began contemplating selling the AP back ! With that said, as a fellow AP customer I will share this with you, Christian sent me one of the latest calibrations that he has not gotten feedback from (BETA) Friday and I will tell you with 100% certainty this is the first time since the AP's release I have been impressed all around, not "feel" but POWER. I checked with him if it was cool to put out some words on this map for you guys (I am not here to make his job harder, so I thought I would check first). I want to keep this thread true to its name so I will post what I have seen with my Beta map on the " v.103 user impressions and discussions only" thread. You may not want to hear impressions, but go back to every thread and see where I stood on the AP and my constant claim that stock ran better than any stage 1 and with equal confidence I will tell you that at least the map I am testing has changed my mind about the posibilities of this AP now. I will post impressions on the other one now. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I have been testing a stage 1 ms CAI Beta map since Friday that Christian stated he hadnt gotten feedback from. First map I have put on the car that immediately is obvious that is more powerful. After about 370 miles or so and about 16 key cycles I have noted this. AFRs are on the money, KR a tad higher than stock, Boost holds 17.5 to 18.0 easily, and the car builds boost immediately and keeps climbing towards 6K. The negative to this is that it is too agressive and I hit PO0234 CEL (overboost) in 2nd, 3rd 4th and 5th but turned down a half a hair would probably be perfect for anyone that has been waiting for the AP to show what it can really do....yes even you Laloosh!! Throttle response is amazing, what you accomplished before with putting the pedal down half way you can get now with the gas barely depressed. I wish I could have made a clean 0-100 mph pass last night (I was testing with the G-tech accelerometer) but I overboosted practically every time in 2nd or 3rd when going WOT from a dead stop. I can tell you this, 1st gear (which is the only one that I believe cannot overboost because its still restricted some, less but some) had enough power that 2500 RPM launches which are my usual starting spot on stock mode launches was totally useless because tirespin was uncontrollable. This map makes substantially more power. The other gear that I could "fully" test was 6th because the "overboost" conditions came about past 5500 RPM as boost kept building 18+ psi (yeah, it is that agressive!!) and while I am a bit of a psycho when I do my midnight testing I am not an idiot who wants to get caught going 150mph on the FWY so I never went over 110mph. With that said, the extra power is obvious when I was able to "floor" it in 6th and would go from 80-110mph in considerably less time than before. I will keep testing it but I believe it has to be turned down ever so slightly and all of us would be sold immediately. I cannot give logged performance from the accelerometer because it overboosted too often but believe me guys Christian is on the money with these calibrations . As a customer all I cared about was knocking off a few tenths to even a half a second of the 0-100mph performance of this car and for the FIRST time I believe it can be done with the addition of just the AP, no other mods. Keep in mind guys this is one of many Beta maps so ultimately Christian will go in whatever direction he deems necessary but if I had any say I would keep these calibrations the same and raise the "safety net" of the ECU power cut off (but for the sake of reliability I would expect to be notched down half a hair) By the way, holding boost at 18psi was done in 82-84 degree temps , so the cold weather runs are NOT causing it. |

| Its the factory map sensor.. We can install a 3 bar to get rid of the problem and program it into the AP directly. When the car sees the 2.5 bar reaching max, it will cut boost even if the damn car isnt there yet. Its weird with this coded logic. Im going to go 3 bar in my car.

| Not Ranked : 0 score my only hope is that the 103's finally fix the stuttering that I've gotten on every other AP map I've tried... I've been running with the AP uninstalled for about a month now because it never stutters without it, and I was tired of it doing it every other time boost hit on AP tunes... Can someone PLEASE forward me a stage 1 + MS CAI 103 beta map so I can see if it will finally fix this issue? Christian will only give them to guys with a dashhawk, which I don't have.... I'm tired of sitting on this $700 'toy' which is just gathering dust on my desk doing nothing... It would be much appreciated.

| Not Ranked : 0 score um....AP monitors knock and afrs.... just because it doesnt log them doesnt make it useless. I did a lot of beta testing with the 101's just monitoring these things myself. Now with the min/max feature it's even easier...
