4th revision, getting close to the 400hp goal. Need to fine tune the boost curve still. The fact that it just keeps pulling is awesome. Had the gf, and a few other things in the trunk, reason for the extra weight.

Unfortunately yes. Luk/Fidanza combo. Funds arent there for anything sweeter . Its a solid combo for my power level so I shouldnt be complaining about not going aftermarket clutch.

you will have to call them to find out. best bet it to do that and discuss with them you goals. hp/tq etc. im pretty sure @nindoja; is running one on his six. right @JgamB; ?

the guy we have running one sent in a stock disc. they converted it to a 6 puck. hes running a gen 2 pressure plate and fidanza flywheel (im pretty sure).

they have a kit that mates to an ACT flywheel too.

Yes. He's also had to replace the master and slave cylinders. Very heavy clutch pedal, but also a high mile specimen. I haven't driven it myself so @nindoja; will need to give you the verdict.

Food for thought I have a Act 6 puck streetlight disk sprung. My stocker started slipping after the bnrs3. The clutch is not as bad as you think but of course stiffer and much shorter. I also had to replace the master and slave cylinder very shortly after.

I am indeed running the kyclutch kit from RD Motorsportz. It's the ky clutch + act flywheel and streetlite pressure plate. HEAVY doesn't even begin to describe the pedal feel.....

I'm running a Fidanza Flywheel, Gen2 Pressure plate, and KyClutch's 6puck. Car hooks great. Pedal feels stock, just grabs like a mofo. I currently have 10k miles on this setup and it feels amazing. I sent my clutch to them, and less than a day later they already had sent it back. I think I paid $250, which included them shipping it back. Came with new throwout bearing and alignment tool also.

I read up on the ACT clutch and everything. I saw that they boasted a ??% more clamping power on their setup than stock. That's because the clutch is a smaller diameter. So to get the same clamping force as stock, they have to stiffen up the pressure plate. So really what are you gaining from it?

Now you have my attention. That price is tits. Is the gen2 press plate different than the gen1? What do you expect the life to be mileage wise?

How is your clutch holding up if you launch the car?

Very nice curve and peak power, but aren't you concerned about your stock block from a longevity stand point at those numbers? Either way, very interested to see your actual dyno numbers.

He's also rollin' on dynojet. Put it at 1.01 CF, correct tire width/height and see what happens.

It's ~372 on 1.01. Seems safe enough to me.

FWIW my dyno numbers on CP-E's AWD Mustang dyno were higher by 10 whp with 150°F BATs than they were with 100° BATs doing a 4th gear pull in vdyno with 1.01 CF. Justin and some other people around here are starting to think 1.01 is a little bit low and that seems to be the case. I'm probably going to start reviewing my runs using Dynojet CF to make sure I'm not underestimating torque. I will continue to post vdynos at 1.01 on the forums for comparison purposes.

I probably won't dyno my S3 until I get rid of the stock CBE and get my WMI up and running.

I think it's only accurate at sea level for CF1.01, my 2¢

Or the curb weight for the gen2 is actually lower than stated by a fair margin?

I'm going to be building, don't get on it much either while driving, so I'm not too concerned. I'm also only hitting these numbers because of the "winter" weather right now in FL. Normal FL weather my highest was 372/371 with VD.

Originally Posted by HawkeyeGeoff View Post

235/40/18 calculates to that in VD, I don't know if it's correct never actually measured it by hand. cf=1.01 never matched up with my numbers when I was k04. Right before I got on the dyno with the k04, all my logs were showing ~305/~340. Actual dyno numbers were 326/348. So I make sure to stay right around 400tq on dynojet cf, because that's more accurate for me.

I know I'll probably get on the dyno (hopefully this weekend), and it be under 400hp (I don't know why I think that, but I just don't want to be let down), but damn I was happy when I threw the log I was able to get in today in VD.
