Default Angel eyes and FMIC on MGM

Looking for ideas on a front lip.. I have scoured the web and haven't found anything I like. Anyone know of any uncommon ones ?

I love it! It's perfect for someone who isn't going big turbo anytime soon and really easy to install. Definitely a lot of top end. Bats cool down considerably too.

Core sucks.

BAT always 50 above ambient at cruising speed. 30 above ambient at WOT. AND this is with the 3.5 inch core instead of the 2.5 it came with. The 2.5 one is a little bit worst

I agree the core could be much better. I am thinking of the Godspeed 3.5" core as an upgrade. I love it over the stock tmic though .. Bats did go down and I only see about 20 to 25 degrees Fahrenheit over ambient meanwhile cruising.

Reason i ask is because im stuck between the CX Racing piping and the COBB.. I love the COBB but the price is pretty high! I would be using a treadstone core with either piping kit!

Godspeed isnt going to give you any improvement. Both CX Racing and Godspeed are just shitty quality ebay companies.

I emailed Cobb about their piping kits minus the core and they quoted me $600.

a.) Pictures taken with potato?
b.) Upgraded TMIC has shown to be a better option in most instances unless you're going really big FMIC and really big numbers.

I really like the COBB, but im worried about when i go BT if a bigger intake ( like HTP or JBR WP ) will fit with it.. CX Racing told me that if i didn't want the intercooler core and cheap B.O.V that it would be $125 off of the advertised price on their website.. So it would be $424 + shipping and then another $250 for treadstone core..

And sorry for thread jacking, i didn't think my question would have gotten so many responses!lol

If your going to just buy piping from CX racing, just save yourself about $200 and get the shitty knock off eBay cx kit. Same stuff that comes with a CX kit for $270 shipped. Cheap pipes are cheap pipes. Just spend your cash on a nice core.

Well you can get the eBay kit and a 3.5" godspeed core for less than $400 shipped, might be the route I go.

A. Pictures taken with ipad quickly in driveway. I am not a good photographer.
B. The FMIC has been an improvement over the stock TMIC and I like the way it looks. Not the best option I could have pursued,I understand, but its still a win win for me.
C. I have searched for the lip extensively. Was in the OP. maybe some just saw something new or uncommon and didn't mind sharing.
D. I didn't start the discussion about intercoolers but at least answers are being found by people. So who cares.

After looking at all my options, I'm thinking about going ahead with the CX Racing FMIC and when i go BT towards the end of the year i will upgrade the intercooler to the TR8L! The CX Racing kit is good enough for the STOCK turbo! And thanks again for telling me how you liked the kit and your experience with the kit!
