(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Need Help! XXR 527 Hey guys, It's my first time posting so please forgive me if I say anything wrong. I have been looking at buying a set of XXR 527 rims and I have seen a few instagram pictures of red ms3 with matte white xxr 527. I went on the internet looking for them but I can't seem to find any place that sells them, just a bunch of other finishes. My question is does anyone know where I can get them from? The size im looking for is 18x8.25 and tires im looking at getting 245/40/18. Any help would be appreciated. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score In like that you don't plan on stancing you ms3. Thats good. I'd be careful though talking about a none forged wheel on MSF. You'd be looking at potential problems with wheel strength and they probably weigh a ton. If I were you I would save up a little more and get a better wheel. But thats me. Yes because most of the 30k+ members here compete professionally in road racing and need extremely light forged wheels. I ran XXR 527 on my evo. Had a set for daily and for slicks. Autox'd numerous times, put 400+wtq to all four wheels, never had an issue. And this is the general consensus online. There was one reported wheel destruction online which the person claims it broke while driving, when in reality she spun out and hit a curb - later trying to blame XXR. Nothing else. They are a ISO9000 certified manufacturing company and have the same quality control as most other wheel manufacturers you know. They're not the lightest but your "probably weigh a ton" comment just shows your level of knowledge - probably acquired from other people's ignorance. OP - if you want a set of wheels that is affordable and don't mind having 5 extra holes (since these are made for both wheel stud patterns), get the XXR. Yes they weight 2-3 lbs more than Enkei and others, but then again you're paying $2000-3000 more for that amount of weight saving.

I would say they are real though, not to sure why someone would create fake xxr rims when they are already pretty cheap. stranger things have happened though

| Not Ranked : 0 score If i'm not mistaken, XXR 527 only comes in 3 colors; bronze, matte black, and chromium black. As others stated, just buy random color and PC it white. Also, XXR are the only company I know of that have retarded sizing. I believe it only comes 18x8.25 and then 18x8.75. 245's would work nice on 8.75. |
