(Thread Starter) | Neutral : +1 score I Know its not original but its so damn good. Went with 17X9 and for tires went with the V12s in 245/40. Nice thing about this set up is I didn't have to role the fenders. Did need to use 5mm spacers from JBR in the front (barley clears strut even with spacers).

| Not Ranked : 0 score Your still on stock suspension I am guessing? You can't go wrong with this set up, I actually have the 17x8.5 with the same tires sitting in my hatch right now just waiting to be mounted tonight. Looks good!

(Thread Starter) | Neutral : +1 score Nope Im on Koni FSDs which don't really lower the car much if at all.

| Not Ranked : 0 score aka : not lowered at all. You will have to roll the fenders once you put her on a set of lowering springs.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score haha not shit tires if you had the original OEM tires on before the upgrade. In my budget I think they are the best choice, are the better choices if your willing to spend more? Hell yea. Agreed

| Not Ranked : 0 score I put my friends wheels on my car last winter and he's got 235 v12s. I didn't hook up until about halfway through third. Granted, I never got the tires up to heat. But they were loud and I didn't have any cornering confidence. Via the freeks VD plot I'm only making about 317whp/369wtq My Michelin pilots hook up late in second gear cold. Sorry for seeming like a dick.

Ultra High Performance (or similar) tires are meant for Temps >45*F. If youre smashing 2nd gear when its 30 outside dont expect to hook on any summer tire.

Up to heat (little balls beginning to form on your tires) is a whole different story. You won't get tires up to heat unless you're on the track or doing autocross.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Well all I can say is I haven't manged to spin them yet (sure its possible). And cornering with this set up is simply not an issue, very confident cornering.
