| 235/55/18s are nearly 3" taller than 235/40/18s. They will also throw off your speedo by around 11% relative to 235/40/18s.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks everyone for your help I accidentally bought the the 235 55 r18 so now I'm screwed madias said they won't fit. | Neutral : +1 score Just get higher performance tires with stickier tread compound in the stock size. Wider is not necessarily going to give you more traction, but will give you more unspring weight, which is not good. Spend a little more per tire and move up to good summer UHP, Max or Extreme grade.
