(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hey guys, I'm sure there is a thread around but I needed an answer asap so I can go out and buy the new wheels! I have my rear guards rolled on my 06 MS6, will the 18 x 8.5 +38 with 235/40/18 fit my car? If it makes any difference... my car is from Australia ![]() If anyone can source a thread link for me I'm more then happy to read through it. Originally I was going with a +44 offset and I know that it's sure to fit but I'm wanting something more "hellaflush" Thanks in advance! |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So I got the Rota G-Forces 18x8.5 +38, 235/40/18 tires. There's no scrubbing with a driver and a passenger, but when theres 2 people in the back it scrubs quite abit... I tore some of my edge / corner / sidewall off last night, does it ruin how the tire performs now? I will definitely be getting my guards rolled before I install the Eibach springs |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Im running a 18x8 with 37mm offset with 235/40/18s on my car, I had to roll mine and im running a stock suspension, I took a baseball bat and rolled the hell out of them and it did the job. I learn my lesson after going over some rail road tracks and took a little piece of meat out of my tire, you might as well roll them just for insurance purposes and if your going to lower it.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hmm that's odd cause with only me in the car, it's near impossible to get it to scrub. My tire is worn all around, on the corner of the sidewall.. it seems to have ripped some of the tread pattern off, do you think its going to affect my cornering and hard turning? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Make sure you roll the fenders at the section that is directly behind the doors... On suspension compression the rear wheels arc toward the front side of the fenders, not straight up and down.. Because of the trailing arm

| Not Ranked : 0 score It depends how bad it is, I couldn't tell you to be honest if you had a picture I could tell you, Im just about the only person who rides in my car and it still happened, I would go ahead and roll them fenders good cause otherwise in the near future when you get new tires they are going to get tore up because of that reason, and if you have insurance on the tires it wont get coved cause of that reason. Just rent a fender roller it will get the job done, you can rent one from streetunit, or you can use a baseball bat if your looking to not spend no money, also besure to have a heat gun so you dont crack your paint!

| Not Ranked : 0 score That isn't that bad, but I bet it tore the shit out of the fender as well... To run silly big tires you need to have a suspension that can adjust camber, or control links that can be adjusted in and suspension that can adjust camber. You see how the tire is tucked in? The top of the rear tire fits because it is tilted (Camber) in

| Not Ranked : 0 score True, but it gave me the chance to post up an awesome picture.. The Kit is only rated for a 235 wide tire... so in actuality the fact that he is running a wide wide tire... it's a bit the same as the OPs situation.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score ![]() This is it, lowered on Eibach springs. One thing that is bothering me, when I was on stock height the front seemed to stick out more than the rear, now that it's lowered the front still stick out more than the rear. Is this a natural thing with our car? |
