(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So, I needed new tires... After some shopping around I ended up 'downgrading' to 17s for future tire cost savings. I went with black Motegi MR118 17x8 +45. Tires are Sumitomo HTRZ IIIs in 235/45/17. Wheels were $557 on ebay, free shipping Tires were $84.50 a piece from tire-easy.com or $374.94 shipped Hubcentric rings for 72.6mm OD to 67.1mm ID were $16.25 from Amazon Muteki black spline drive lugs were $37 from Amazon Set of 4 used TPMS sensors from ebay were $30.45 shipped New sensor rebuild kits were $3.99 each from Advanced Auto or $15.96 Local 'mom and pop' shop to mount, balance, rebuild and install the TPMS sensors was $80 So, all said and done, this setup was $1,111.60 to get on my car. And I still have my stockers laying around if need be. I have about 50 miles on them so far, and there's absolutely no rubbing. I have zero suspension mods so I wasn't expecting any after reading through so many threads here, but you never know. Traction is infinately better, that mostly has to do with the spent Goodyear Eagle A/S that I had on the stockers. Still spins a bit in 2nd but not like it used to, and doesn't spin at all in 3rd, especially after the tires are warmed up. I'll take a spirited drive through a back road in town tomorrow to see how the twisties feel. Overall, I'm really happy with the look, feel, and the fact that future tire purchases will be nearly $300 cheaper on average. Now, on to the pics
