I'm using a ryobi multi-tool with 80 and 120 grit triangle sanding pads to get off the previous layers of paint and get down to the bare metal. I'm going to use metal primer after I get them all sanded down and then use spray paint and a clear coat... first time tackling a painting project like this so I hope it goes well! This is on speed6 wheels so it's taking forever. Also plan on filling in some curb rash with bondo filler.
