Soooo .. Bought some more wheels and had em put on this weekend. I'm digging them.

Forgot to put specs:
18x8 et40 Motegi SP10s
Still running 215/45s for not until i can get up some monies for 225 or 235s!!

Yes, you'll rub with anything above 225 and possibly even with that. Wheels look great though, flows very nice with the car.

Oh no, def wont rub with rolled rears. Sry, my post wasnt to clear. I was previously on 18X7.5 on a 225-45 tire, when i went to 18X8 (same tire) i rubbed in the rear and had to get a roll.

Thinking of going from 215/45s to 235/40s and rolling the rear fenders. Seems like a waste to go from a 215 to a 225 when i can get 235 around the same price and more tire on the road!

Yep I'm in between Canton/Woodstock. I've got Cooper RS3-A tires, I like them. They're comfortable, not loud, and grip pretty well. Rubbed a little bit at stock height on dips/bumps and a bit more right after it was lowered...but I did roll the rear fenders that same afternoon and that has helped quite a bit. Just gotta look out for nasty areas of pavement...other than that it rides fine w/o rubbing.

Wouldn't mind meeting up, shoot me a PM if you're gonna be over my way at some point.

sp10s are hopefully what ill getting whenever i get the moneyz. i like that they are pretty lightweight, fair priced, and look good. hardest decision will be this hyperblack or the matte black on my wwp speed6

IMO - With the WWP the Hyper Black would be my choice! Makes the wheels stand out. With the Matte Black i think it would take away from the style of the rims. Just my .02!

thats totally my opinion at this point but ive always been a fan of the white car/black rims look. i just think these rims themselves look really good and the black kinda hides that beauty.

I running 18 x 8 Rx-8's with 235/40's lowered on MS springs and I don't rub anywhere. Genwon MS3 here. Also ran 245/40/18 Drag Radials up front (same rims) at the track, no rub there either. Maybe with a bunch of people and a big dip you might rub the rear, go with 235/40 - they look dope on 18 x 8 rimz yo! lol.

Aren't the RX-8 rims a +50 offset? Are you running spacers? If your not running spacers i could def see throwing some 245s on there!!

Not sure about the +50...although that sounds right. No spacers, no rubbing, even driving like a retard with weight in the back. 245/40's would fit fine, may have to roll the rear. I think 235/40's look better and still offer great grip over 215's. Unless you're tracking the car I think 245's might be unnecessary, just more weight, more money and more work (rolling/trimming inner fender plastic) 18 x 8 - 235/40 is a great DD street set-up.

Yeah. They are +50 which would explain the no rubbing. At an et40 i belive i will have to roll and deal with some rubbing at times. Im going to the track tonight but will be on m 215/45s
