For around $50-$75 worth of materials and about 5-7 days worth of time (spread over several weeks), it was worth the experience. Now looking back I should have just saved another $100 or so and spent $200 to get them powder coated and been done with it.

Cool, thanks for filling me in. I'm glad I went the route I did. I just don't have the time or the inclination to do what you did. was much easier to drop off the wheels and pick them up a week later lol.
