Revolution Performance Motorsports Revolution Performance Manufacturing (RPM) was started by three Mazda 6 enthusiasts in early 2004 under a simple premise: to develop and manufacture new products for the Mazda 6 at an affordable price. We began to realize our purpose with the short throw shifter and gas hood lifter kits for that vehicle. Since then, we have added many new aftermarket products from well-known manufacturers and continue to expand to offer products for other vehicles with the goal of having the best prices and customer service on the 'net.

They still won't ship until the end of the GB unless I can work something out with GC. It also depends on how quickly the solid orders come in. Our goal is to have them to you as quickly as possible, but we have to work within the limitations we're given in order to be able to offer this price. I'm working on the link/code right now. Give me another hour or so.

They're probably going to be very similar. GC doesn't give out details on the exact spring rates they use, which is why we ask the questions. An occasional autocross setup might have slightly stiffer springs (maybe 25-50 lbs heavier) and may be pre-set with a little stiffer rebound, but that's always adjustable.

Also. I'm deliberating. I DD, but there's always a chance i'll hop on a road course. Don't know if I wanna choose DD/aggressive, or occasional road course/aggressive. Don't want my ride to be shat on the 80+ mile daily commute.

I'm in the same boat. I commute 100+ miles a day but will attend atleast 13-15 autox events and the occasional road course (if I have the money). I wrote a lengthy description in the order comments. I'm hoping GC can sort it out..lol

We can't ship early. In order to get the lower pricing, we have to order everything in bulk. If all 20 orders came in we MIGHT could ship early, but right now we only have about 5 of them. And I'd hate to get 20 and ship early if it looks like we might be able to make 40+.

As I mentioned before, those two options are probably going to be very similar. An occasional autocross/road course setup might have slightly stiffer springs (maybe 25-50 lbs heavier) and may be pre-set with a little stiffer rebound, but that's always adjustable. It will be a stiffer ride, but it will also be well-controlled by the dampers, so it shouldn't be uncomfortable. Personally, I prefer the Aggressive feel over the Touring feel.

Ordering today. Just trying to figure out how I should order them. I'm undecided whether I should choose Occasional Autocross/Aggressive, Occasional Autocross/Race, or custom rates, maybe 500/625. It would be a lot easier if we knew what spring rates GC chose for each option.

I agree. I tried to get this information out of them, but they just kept saying, "We base it on the individual customer's needs". I finally asked them what information they needed to best design a kit and they told me intended use, ride feel, and weight. The exact wording of the options I made up myself. The most I could get out of them is that the range is 450-650 lb/in in the front and 500-800 lb/in in the rear. With that in mind, at least we know that Daily Driver, Touring is at the low end and Dedicated, Race is at the top.

Fair enough. Although I would like to add that they shouldn't need to be adjusted once they are set properly. I've had adjustable coilovers on 2 different cars and once I got them set up, I never touched them after that.

Ordered. I went for Occasional Road Course/Aggressive with minor weight reduction. I also wrote out a note to Ground Control to let them know exactly what my car will be used for, I hope this gives me the best setup for my requests.

The numbers are accurate, and the drop is more than sufficient for a performance-oriented setup.

this isn't really a kit you'll want to "slam". there's a pretty obvious point where the ride becomes terrible and bouncy, and that's the suspension's way of saying "raise it back up, junior". Happened with GC's on my old b18 civic. Once I brought it back up a little bit, the ride was awesome and the handling was fantastic.
