Default Upgraded turbo questions

The seals on my turbo just recently blew and was looking at my options for an upgraded turbo. I'm no looking to build the block right now but more along the lines of a reworked ko4. With that I was wondering what the best option would be. I know even usually gets the bnr stage 3 but was wondering if the ptp sst was an good and if you could even find them. Any numbers or videos would be great with suggestions thanks.

BNR S3 would be exactly what you're looking for and with good 93oct gas, you'll be reaching in the area of 340whp.
Spend $600 more and get a GT3071 and make 380(?) on a somewhat conservative tune.
It's all about your goal at this point

Hey im looking to run a similar setup that you have. I currently do not have a DP but will be getting one in the near future. Any idea of what your hp/tq is?

I've read people running 400hp on the stock blocks and would love to go that route with the gt3071 but wouldn't I need the ewg setup along with safe seals and a new manifold?

its the TQ you gotta be careful of when getting into the 400 area with the stock block..or so I've read..

Yeah I also read that the way you blow these things up is producing too much torque below 3k rpm

You're right. Too much torque on the stock rods will bend and break them in a hurry. A good safe zone to keep the torque in when tuning is 360-370, although it can be pushed further.
Once I get my BNR on and start tuning, I'll be wanting to keep my torque around 350

400whp is difficult to achieve just on the stock fueling system especially in the summer. Either you need a very well flowing setup that stays far from the knock threshold and is lighter on fuel use because of this or some additional fueling from a wmi system or additional injectors.
