Default At what point do i build motor?

I plan on going big turbo either GT3076R or GT2871R, would this require the engine to be built? At what horse power is that necessary? Also which of these 2 turbo's would yall recommend for a daily driver?

It sounds like 2871, but what are the power goals ultimately? I'm looking at a 3076 setup because I want room to grow and I'm okay with a bit of lag. A read through the BT build section helped me big time. Theres a stock block thread too. What fuel you have access to plays a role too

Signed, That guy who mistaken bought a GT3582

Everything you asked can easily be found out if you know how to read.

If you drive around town more, the 28 series is a better choice. If you take long drives and are on the highway more often, the 30 series is probably a better choice.

If you wanted something in between those two, you should look into the BNR S4.

Any one person can't answer this question for someone else. I have a stock K04, but probably make more power than a lot of BT guys. I really love the low end torque and don't think I would do anything different. If this one blows sometime, I'll probably upgrade to the GTX28R.

One of the good questions that was asked was what fuel do you have handy. That plays a big role as well.

Mostly you should do as @Janks; said and read a bunch. You will read a lot that sounds like people are saying the opposite, but they are probably both right. The important part is to be able to tell why

Also depends on the condition of the current engine and how it's been treated, if it's had a hard life chances are high it will break something with more power pushed through an aged engine.

Just build it now, before you blow it up.
