Default Whining noise in boost after reinstalling SSQV

I recently bought a purple fin for my HKS SSQV not knowing that I can't insert a fin while it's recirculating. I took the SSQV off, noticed I can't install the fin and I reinstalled it. Ever since then I have noticed a whining when I'm in boost. It never did it before which leads me to believe it's something not reinstalled correctly or it was a massive coincidence.

I checked that the gasket is still in good shape, all my bolts are tight, and my recirculating hose clamp is tight. I also made sure that the recirculating "cap" or whatever it's called is tightened well with the 4 hex bolts. I have a video if anyone can give me some ideas of things to check. I am tuned for 20lbs of boost, and am still reaching that for the most part, so I'm not sure if I have a boost leak or where to go from here. Thank you in advance for the help.
