Default anti lift kit possibly will fit MS3?

So I have been in the search to find suspension components that will improve the handling for our cars. Whiteline has a lot of bushing kits and such, which I am interested in. But I found this http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/bul...e%20BL-371.pdf .. I know it says focus RS but I have been told it would be a direct fit. This part is not out yet (due in Jan) but seems like it could be a nice improvement for us. I called whiteline US to confirm; the techs were at the SEMA show but I left a message. I want this if it will work. @Nliiitend1 where you at? what do you think?

apparently MRT Performance in Australia confirmed this will work for the MS3. Bad news they expect it to cost $300. Maybe @jbarone can come up with his own version to save us some money?

EDIT: looking up other whiteline anti lift kits, I don't think this will cost $300. Others kits are half that price. But it still would be nice to buy these from @jbarone

Well the "Anti-Lift" kit and the Caster Correction bushings that you also linked to replace the same bushings, so you'll probably want to go with one or the other...

Regarding cross-fitment with the MS3, as long as the inboard mounts for the RS's LCAs are the same as the MS3's (which is pretty likely), then there shouldn't be a problem. The real difference between the RS's LCAs and the MS3's is that there is no outboard balljoint on the RS. It's just a single-axis link (since the part that bolts to it doesn't need to turn) instead.

Thanks man. Yeah I didn't know exactly where the anti lift kit was mounted. I found out that the brackets in the kit (vs just having the bushings) will allow for fully adjustable caster and anti-lift.

I will wait and see what happens on the anti-lift kit.

what this kit will help mostly is when you launch the car, it will reduce the amount of squat, what i mean by squat is when you take off or launch, the front lifts up and the rear dips down.

why is this bad?? well we have FWD cars, when you launch it the weight of the car shifts back wards, the front end lifts up, and the weight on the front wheels becomes less, so the traction in the front is reduced a lot which results in just spinning the tires and blowing white smoke, looks cool, but it will effect your 0-60 times.

so by change in the angle of the front front control arm, it helps reduce the front end lift. but that only solves 1/2 the problem, because the rear still wants to dip down, so you still need to do the same to the rear in order to help it from squatting, but in the rear you would have to change the angle the opposite direction that what you did to the front.

subbed. I definitely need something like this for my car. I'm getting tons of wheel spin, plus some really bad wheel hop occasionally. I don't have that much HP really, probably 280 to the wheels, but you can't use any of it, lol. I can't imagine what guys are doing with 400+ HP.

This sounds really good,

has anyone here had an anti-lift kit on any other cars? If so, does it affect daily driving?

I know I won't care much about the lil added NVH; Some people might though. Improvement will be worth it.

To see a review on ALK on a FWD car I would suggest reading this

BTW. I received an email from Whiteline a few weeks ago. Part will be release early January. I will be keeping an eye out for the release so I will update the thread..I am getting this, no doubt

Nice find! I'm also interested in the test fitting of the new Focus LCAs. They are lighter and longer, so they would add more front camber out of the box. I'm hoping that we can find many parts to cross shop in the near future with the Euro-Focus finally coming over.

FYI, I'm more interested in adding caster than anti-lift. I don't drag race much these days, but I drive the hell out of my cars on country roads. Having an adjustable one like the Fulcrum would be bad ass.

JP @ Edge just checked with Whiteline and they will probably be scheduled for release at the end of the month, pricing is not set yet.

Edit: Reading further it doesn't look like the installation instructions deal with the swaybar brackets on the Gen 2. Assuming the bolt diameter is the same as OEM this would possibly just need a longer bolt depending on how thick the flanges are on the new bushing.
