New logs, stage 2 autotechs installed today.

Heres some logs and graphs of my custom stage 2 tune by me. Installed autotechs and itv-22's today with the help of

Targeting 19psi from 3000-4500rpm, 18.5psi at 5000rpm, 18psi from 5500rpm up. AFR commanded is 11.850. Timing is stage 2 IC upgrade ots.

I am purely boost tuned, i set my car to ignore all load targets.

1st log is 3rd gear, 2nd is 2nd gear, 3rd is 3rd gear.

Just checked my virt dyno #'s.

Same mods pre fp internals/plugs running 16psi, 260hp/295trq.

Now, 289hp, 321trq.

your fuel pressure is too high. LOL, you might have left your internals in oil for too long.

lol, nice runs last night. It seems you were getting me on the shift, were you ffs?

Now that you have internals, I think you will really start enjoying the car more @ higher boost levels.

Yes, i was. LOL

but as of right now, you should have been able to keep up if not beat me. i got some kind of issue which im still trying to figure out

Well you told me i might have a possible hardware issue but i havent been able to find anything.

I took off the intercooler, SRI, TIP and checked them but still nothing.

Remember when i sent you that message about the CEL codes i was getting.
P0137- o2 sensor low voltage sensor #2
P0139- o2 sensor slow response sensor #2
P2096- target A/F feedback system too lean

Im beginning to think that it might be my DP, since its giving me the CEL code that a lot of people had issues with. My DP has an extended O2 bung on the lower sensor, so im gonna have a shop weld in another O2 bung close to that one so that the sensor is in the exhaust stream.

I was keeping up, I don't have ffs on, thats where you started to pull away, otherwise you were barely inching away from me. Also, your 2nd o2 sensor shouldn't be affecting performance at all. That is strictly for checking if the cat is in place.

I'm going to flash a new map with some wgdc tweaks after i drive a little more to settle my fuel trims (which are still pretty good at +/- 2 lol, and then I will start messing with timing, since I'm running ots timing tables.

Sure.

Some observations from my 40 mile commute this morning.

The engine runs somewhat smoother, probably due to the new plugs.

Also, no extra noise from the fuel pump, sounds exactly like stock.

You can also see from my graphs, boost is very stable and consistent 2 port all the way @rfinkle2 lol.

Wrong my friend. according to this thread

here is what was found
Cruising, or closed loop AFR's, and the especially trims are affected by the narrow band O2 sensor. The reason these guys were having such a problem was because the 2nd O2 sensor would never properly heat up, so, in turn the ecu kept pushing more fuel to try and heat up the high flow, or non-existent cat, this is one of the reasons the idle and cruising AFR were always so rich, and why they were also reporting terrible gas mileage.


the rear o2 is also responsible for keeping your afr's right and fuel trims...your mpg is prob a lot worse right now, and fuel trims are way off from running super rich.

Check Engine Light (P2098)

The second O2 which came faulty in CP-e and UR DPs would throw a CEL code which could be fixed by adding an O2 bung that would place the O2 sensor closer to the exhaust stream and heat up properly.

You guys are dead on concerning the timing.

Unfortunately, there is not a whole lot left in our motor with the k04 after 5000 rpms.

LOL. no it was after. the last thing i changed was the BOV and now i have a forge and still got the same results.

i also had a couple of CELs due to the catless DP but i fixed it today by welding another O2 bung.


i just took some logs and i still got the same results.

New Logs.

Have about 200 miles on the new internals, and they are running great. Holding 1750-1900psi, commanding 1749psi. 400-430psi at idle.

Made a few small wgdc tweaks and boost error tweaks since the last logs. Also increased timing by 1* up top.

perhaps you can increase timing a bit more.

try doing 4th gear logs. do it on the way to work. i do it on my way to school and i always have fun and get there early.

Yeah, I'm going to increase timing a little more. I might do some 4th gear logs soon.

Switched all my values over to a new v210 map. Heres 2 3rd gear logs for ur pleasure.

One weird thing I noticed on log 6, is that when i hit max load (2.2), fuel psi holds right at 1750 for a few cells, then as my load comes down a little, it shoots it back up to 1800-1900psi.

Also, it doesn't seem to be following my timing table. Seems my car doesn't like to pay attention to what I tell it to do.

Pump pressures vary pretty widely, usually about + / - 100 psi (sometimes more).

@G26 As for not following the tables, the ecu interpolates between cells, so if you have a 1* in the 2 load / 3000 rpm column, and 3* in the 2load 3500 rpm column, the ecu will pass through (i.e. use) 2*.

If you are getting kr @ 3250 rpms, 2.0 load, you will probably need to back timing off @ 3500 rpms, because the ecu is trying to get to your 3500 rpm timing target, and passing through spark advance that is too far advanced in order to get there.

Hmm the timing is ots, and in the table it is like +2-4 around where I'm getting the KR, should I make it closer to what I am logging?

How far off is the timing you are running vs. what you see in the tables?
