(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score My 2010 has suffered from the 2nd gear pop out issue. I'm at 88k. I have not done a fluid flush or any trans service, I've been holding off as I'd like to just rebuild the trans or at least inspect and replace the damaged parts. With that, all I see if people say just rebuild it, why dont you rebuild it, rebuild time, etc.. But nobody has the info on a rebuild. Do I need to crack it open and then jim ellis the broken parts? Not interested in buying a lower mileage used trans. Thank you guys! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score You could take it out and bring it to a transmission shop but it won,t be cheap. a used one will be cheaper with an unknown status, the best is to get it from a salvage that sell it with a warranty. i have a garage and usually do everything myself but a transmission is not easy. i made an attempt and gave up to finally bring it to a shop. there is special locks and clearances because of the conic bearing that you may easily screw up if you fail...

| Not Ranked : 0 score My 2nd gear has been popping out since the day i got it home from the dealership 4 years ago. Granted, it doesn't pop out often but I've been holding off since.
