| Not Ranked : 0 score i have a cbe on my gen 1. better looks, maybe. better sound yes. power wise= not much if anything. I think maybe i spool 1 rpm sooner. but for me it made the car mine and custom. i love looking at my exhaust and wouldnt change it. but a dp will kill the cbe in power and not to mention the dp with cat is the same price~ as cbe. give or take 100 and who you get. if you plan to do exhaust eventually do it. but if you just want raw cheap power dp and leave stock alone.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Damn, I sure would like both. My mods would be complete or just about engine wise. SRI, DP, CBE would be plenty then I could focus on an aftermarket front fender and LED tail lights. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score No cat in the DP will cause a cel, so it depends what DP you go with. And depending on your location and how cold it gets by you in the winter the combo of a DP and SRI can cause fuel cut/load cut without a tune. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score The difference between a high flow cat and no cat is minimal. a few HP, nothing that you will even feel. Just get the catted DP.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Hey so, I wonder which CBE is less restrictive. I noticed the UR one seems to have split into two smaller mufflers, and the CP-E one is using a single large muffler (like stock) Here are pics, opinions on which might be the better design and why? (I know nothing about physics or flow dynamics or any of that crap =) CP-E CBE UR CBE

My guess would be the UR one. Straight through muffler design and minimal bends.
