(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I blew my 2011 mazdaspeed engine because water pump failed. I rebuild the engine and I year later a rod blew out of my oil pan. I have invested to much money and have other projects. Does anyone know I can make a gen 1 engine work on my gen 2 mazdaspeed? The gen 2 engines are going for almost 3k. I can get a gen 1 for less than 1500. I was wondering if someone knows if I can make work what I need to do, for example if my harness will work or do I have to modify or use gen 1 ecu? | Neutral : +1 score Any 2.3l turbo engine from a mazdaspeed3, mazdaspeed6, or cx7 will work until you blow it up again.
