and does anyone know what size our rad hoses are??
Not 100% but I believe they are 30mm inner diameter possibly 32mm. Most companies make a 30mm / 32mm / 34mm / 36mm and 38mm so there should be one out there that works.
Used a Greddy one on my personal vehicle and it worked great.
Just cut the hose and use 2 hose clamps which most adapters will include,

I didn't bother running to the last page to see what turned out but there's no sense in paying that much cash to monitor your ECU.. I paid 60$ plus like 7$ in shipping bought the ultragauge and I got a temp gauge a furl pressure gauge and more.. Here's some pics.. I stuck it to the useless plastic crap next to the info center and routed the wire under the dash. Uncoupled the OBD II port (since it plugs into it to read the ECU) and zip tied the remaining cable.. And and it also reada codes and clears them.. enjoy..

If anyone wants more info on how I did it.. Let me know..

I have the ultragauge and it is good for the price. I also have an AP and I do recommend both, if you want info screen monitoring the ultagauge is great, but the AP does so much more.

How did you get both to run at the same time? They both need OBD2 connections.

I don't run both at the same time. I run one at a time. When I want to Datalog I use the AP. When I just want monitoring I use the Ultragauge.

Yes, you need to setup the screens the way you like. It displays 51 different OBD parameters for the PU.

Buy the Ultragauge and donate with some of the money you saved from not buying the Dashhawk.

Sorry I havnt had internets for a while.. But their site is www.ultragauge.com
It was like 78$ with shipping and it was fast..

Yea just a monitor.. But you can take it to other peoples car and pull some codes and charge them like 20$ lol make your money back cuz it's a scanner too!

I got it because of the fuel pump issues so you can see I'm monitoring it..that and the water temps..

I actually don't believe the dashhawk will pull fuel pressures.. They have a list of what they see per car. I think it's dashawk.. Or another one.. Whatever they are both over priced

I ended up going with an Aeroforce Interceptor. It was $260 shipped. I think it looks very clean. I have mines set to A/F and Coolant Temp.

My apologies. That's the RPM Vent Pod for $40.

VentPod Single Gauge Pod for Mazda 3 / Mazdaspeed 3 - Revolution Performance Motorsports!

They didn't make/have a 2010 MS3 model so I bought this Gen 1 vent pod. I gambled and it worked perfectly.

The Aeroforce measures boost. I have it set to read A/F and water temp though. I can have it scroll through a bunch of sensor if I want. But right now I have it fixed on these two.

The ultragauge measures boost.. It's on the screen below the temps.. But it reads atmospheric.. So anything below 14.7 is vacuume.. Anything beyond 14.7 is boost.. So if you don't mind math it's there lol

I just bought an Ultra Gauge today, mainly for the fuel PSI and the engine water temp. Doesn't look like oil temp shows from our car though. I don't have an AP yet, but I might do some modding, so I wanted the fuel PSI to check, as well as other temps and AFR to see how I'm doing.

I also want oil temperature. I see oil pressure has a warning light, so that's fine, but I don't see a warning light anywhere for oil temperature. How are people getting oil temperature? Should I just not worry about it? I think with a turbo you should always have oil temperature monitored, but maybe that's just me.

Does high oil temp at least throw a CEL?

I personally wouldnt worry about the oil temps unless your in the desert in alot of stop and go traffic or doing some track stuff. Also, I doubt it will throw out a code for temps. One way to find out is find the oil temp sensor, if there is one, and disconnect it..

Honestly, I think the Cobb AP would be perfect if it had the same size screen as the Ultra-Gauge.

I have the brockway engineering dgauge and like the info that it provides. There is a post on this forum someplace about it.

2010 MAZDASPEED3 GRAY BEIGE TRIPLE GAUGE PILLAR POD | eBay

there is a pillar solution, but most people dont use it because of the airbag. which should it deploy, will sent the pillar out towards the engine. MOST people dont know that. they think theyre gonna get killed by the gauge pod and gauges

check out the crash thest video

This would work, but it is designed to replace the A piller in a 3 with no side air bags. So you would have to remove the side air bag, unless the cover comes off, for it to work. It does not slide over the current A piller.

The regular 3 does have side airbags. Here's the crash test video. Jump to about 1:15 to see exactly what the panel on the pillar does upon impact. It basically pops off and swivels toward the windshield. If you've ever taken that panel off, then you probably noticed that it's attached to the pillar itself via a strap at the top. This keeps it from becoming a projectile.

Are you sure it does not slide over the existing? That's what all the GlowShift install how-to videos show how it's done.

That's correct. It's a cover, not a replacement. Per Glowshift's instructions...

"If you are installing a Full Length Pillar; it is a cover, not a replacement. It must be attached to the factory A-pillar trim."

I didn't see the instructions. All the full length I have ever dealt with we're complete replacements. I stand corrected.

Although, at the top under the picture it says warning do not install on vehicles with airbags.

For android devices, there's an app called Torque that you can use with a $20 Bluetooth OBDIi reader off of eBay.

I was wondering where the temp gauge was... I told my wife to not drive it like she stole it until the temperature was up. Didn't realize there wasn't one!

Hello

Does that vent pod fits without modification for gen 2? As when I check that link @ rpmstore, it shows that its for gen1.

Thanks
